I wanted an "external HDD" for recording TV programs on my LG OLED55E6, but I also didn't want yet-another-power-supply to run it. I wanted it powered from the USB port alone.And I also didn't want a mechanical HDD - you can hear these squeak/buzz as they do their thing.It worked perfectly, first time. I plugged it into PC first just to check it worked. It was NTFS and LG supports that. Deleted some warranty registration app folder to free up a bit more space. Plugged into LG praying the LG USB port provided enough power - and it worked! LG recommend "less than 0.5A" but the USB 3 spec should provide 0.9A max. Couldn't find power specs for this B75 so I hoped Bolt + LG played by the USB rules and they have.My first ever SSD and wish I'd bought another for my PC. This records/plays back HD TV flawlessly - the bandwidth of this far exceeds what comes over the airwaves so it should!Great value for money. I didn't want to spend too much as this data is not "important", but I didn't want to stray into "bargain basement".Comes with 2 USB cables, both rather short. Typically you'd plug this into a laptop so that'd be fine. But the drop from my TV USB port to a suitable resting place is 3 times as far. No problem - this SSD is nice and light so it dangles/rests on a nook behind the telly. There is an LED to show data transfer but that's nicely hidden from view.Very pleased, and somewhat relieved as I didn't know for sure it'd work with my TV.

Used this a few times now, it comes with two different USB cables which would be better if they were a bit longer. Transfers files much faster than my old HDD. So far all good

I am currently using this as a back up drive on my MacBook Pro. It is ludicrously Light and fast. It slips easily in my laptop bag and holds to travel. It isnt as burly as LaCie’s drives but SSD helps

MS Surface Pro 6 was getting above 90% util. sorted with this 1TB external drive.

Works really well or at least as well.as some of more well known brands. Admittedly I've only had the item for a few weeks but there have been no issues with this drive at all. Very easy to use. Recommended.

Very lightweight and tinny. I appreciate its aluminium. But I doubt it would survive much rough treatment, or heavy weight on it.Don't think "rugged" is the right word to call it

Need some more storage for my new Laptop to store all my photos and documents on instead of taking up the internal storage on my laptop this is quite a rugged design and for the price I payed well worth it

Funktioniert einwandfrei, verbaucht nicht allzuviel Strom, läuft auch an einem Panasonic TV, und ist (weil SSD) auch schnell genug.
