K-Grip Siphon Spray Gun, Low Cost

I was using the cheapest sprayer from Harbor Freight to spray glazes, but they would clog easily and are hard to clean. These work great, don't clog and you don't have to take anything apart to clean them. They don't have spray settings, so they're not great for small air-brush type applications.

I love this Critter. What a great invention. I own a full wood shop and sell goods online. I have a spray booth with a pancake compressor and the critter. I purchased a case of mason jars and keep all my stains neatly on a shelf. Clean up is super easy. When I am done with one stain, I can take the "lid" off, switch to a mason jar with water in it, easily spray water through the nozzle and go on to another color. The simplicity of it is crazy good! Adjusting the spray is just a simple turn of the brass head that aligns with the "air hole." So excellent!

Mine was very slightly defective. The holes for the air and paint are slightly offset so I don't know how much that factors. Having said that, it works well enough to spray my kitchen cabinets with HTP paint. There's no pattern control or and adjustments possible. Basically, just use the lowest pressure that will deliver the product without spitting. If I were looking for a professional sprayer for refinishing furniture or doing cabinets for others I'd probably pick something more suited to the task but this was well worth the $50 to keep my from brushing and rolling 24 cabinets and a buffet/server. I did use my little pancake compressor. That's fine for small jobs like cabinets but it really struggles with big things like larger furniture and doors so I'd size up on the compressor if you intend to do larger projects.

This is the most ingenious and oh-so-simple-to-clean, compressor driven spray tool. You can waste a lot of money on HVLP sprayers and hours of time cleaning them. This sprayer takes about 4 minutes to clean with just a pipe cleaner and soapy water and a rag. I wish I had discovered this sprayer 20 years sooner. Amazing results and so easy to use.

I have read alot of negative reviews on this product? I ordered anyway. I have not had much success with on using 35 psi of air pressure. All you need to do is start moving your air pressure up gradually until you get the pattern you want. I am personally using around 70psi and it works great!! I have painted about 10 things with this gun and I am even spraying Kilz with it. Just mix in about a table spoon of water and you can spray all day!!! I use this gun in and outside of the house also. I love this gun. So don't let all the negative reviews scare you. Just experiment with your air pressure and I am sure you will be pleased. If you had a Critter Spray Products 22032 118SG Siphon Gun this is the same gun, BUT it has a plastic jar. It took about 5 minutes to drill 4 holes & switch it back to use mason jars. Once I had it converted, I was truly impressed. The old Critter 118SG Gun had had its day & was due for a replacement. This replacement gun worked even better than than the old Critter 118SG Gun. Truly a joy to use & clean. I was happy to find this at an affordable price and am very happy w/how it sprays, for the price, it can't be beat.

Was excited to get this. Very easy to set up and use. Does not spray well at all. Went through the whole gun to adjust everything, adjusted pressure on compressor. Got it to spray but more stain Came out the side of the container then anything. It seems as if I never got the seal right in the package. Can not get another mason jar to screw on. Was very hopeful. Loved the idea of changing out mason jars with stains, but can’t.
