Skull Hooker Mini Hooker Small Size Trophies

This product is very easy to install, and it provides an attractive way to hang any European mount skull on the wall. I will definitely order this product again.

The mini Hooker holds small mounts perfectly. It's very stable and rotates for easy display options. It looks great!

Mount worked ok for my daughters Jacobs Ram Euro, but I had to put rubber tube over the metal prongs to get the skull not to tip. The skull bone against the metal prongs would slip and the head would tilt, found some rubber tubing to slip over prongs and this added some "grip" against the bone and bent the prongs a little for a better fit.Down side of this style is if the head gets bumped it can shift or slip around on the prongs. We had a small earth quake and the head tipped, luckily it didnt come off. Im looking at some other mounts that actually clamp on or secure the skull, not just count on gravity to keep it there.

This is my first mini-skull hooker. I prefer it over their standard little hooker model. Is sits about 4 inches closer to the wall then the standard. Although the standard is nice. I feel for deer, it just sticks out to far from the wall. The mini is perfect and has no issues holding my 12 point...FYI. Owning both I can tell you that that hook that actually holds the skull in the same. The arm on the mini is just shorter and the part that mounts to the wall is slightly small then the little hooker (screw holes are closer together on the mini).

I like how this one is closer to the wall than the little hooker. Of course the nearest stud on this little 3’ wall isn’t centered so I attached 3/4” plywood to give it something sturdier to attach to than Sheetrock.I love how easy it is to slip the skull onto the mount. And then I can easily move it as I please.I would not attach it in any area that a person could easily bump it as I do worry it would fall off.

After reading lots of reviews on European mount brackets I had narrowed it down to either the “mini hooker” and the “little hooker”. My main concern was how far out from the wall the mount would be. I decided to buy the mini hooker and am extremely happy with my decision. The quality is top notch and easy to use. I also feel the spacing from the wall is perfect for my whitetail mount that has a 15” spread and scored 142-3/8”. I am not saying the “little hooker” wouldn’t look just as nice but I do feel the mini is awesome in my book.

The skull hoper mini is well made but has two flaws. The “hook” that goes into the skull is too short and for some angles I feared the skull would fall off. You can’t hang the skull up and down which ended up being the angle I wanted. And lastly the swinging bracket sets in two holes about 1/4” but there is nothing that locks them in. One bump and it’s popping out. I found a simple coat hook in my extra parts drawer that held the skull firmly and at the right angle. I hear a stair rail bracket would also work great.

The mini hooker is too small for the full grown buck mounted in the middle, but it worked. Love this style of mount and will continue to get them as my wall expands.
