🔧 Keep Your Ride in Tune with Memory Saver Magic!
The OBD Connector Memory Saver AC/9v is an essential tool for vehicle owners, designed to maintain voltage continuity to your engine computer, clock, and radio memory during battery changes. It retains critical settings like radio presets and ECM codes, ensuring a seamless transition when replacing or disconnecting your vehicle's battery.

Must-Have Even to Momentarily Disconnect Battery
This little kit seems smarter because can connect to house power or can connect a single 9 volt battery. Flexible. It takes up almost no space. I haven't used it yet, but quality looks good and the plug is correctly wired to contact the OBD2 12v power pin. This is smarter than using cigarette style power outlets because many cars turn the circuits off with the ignition key, often on a short timer. Once the power outlet times-out its useless and both engine snd radio memory are lost.I'll have a chance to try it in spring and if it's not a good experience then I'll come back here to update. But I expect it will do the job.

OBD memory saver
Needed to change the battery in my Q60. Was worried about losing my presets for radio, seats, windows to name a few. By using the OBD memory saver all were maintained during the battery change. I used the 120v power supply instead of the 9v battery adapter as it was easier to hook it up to the OBD port and plug in the 120v power source after all the lights and everything powered off in the car after closing the door. I should mention that care should be used if using the 9v adapter as the wires are a light gauge and I was concerned about having it hang down with no support. Also care should be taken when disconnecting the 9v battery from the socket so as not to damage the wires or the battery holder.

Works
Does what it says and I particularly like the inclusion of the transformer so it can be used long-term. I knocked it down one star because I think it should also include a 12 volt (cigarette lighter) adapter. For short-term use, I plug into a rechargeable car-starter/power supply with all the standard plugs like USB, 12 volt, and 120 volt (the 9 volt option is cute, but there’s no way to know whether any particular battery has enough power to work for a specified period of time). It would be nice to not have to use an inverter (which just drains the power supply faster) just to get the 12 volts through the supplied transformer when there’s a direct 12 volt plug.

Excellent memory saver!
Works great! I had to replace my battery in my Toyota & I didn’t want my truck to lose the “Driving style” settings it took several month's to learn, so I hooked this up to a 9V battery and plugged it in to the 12V power outlet and swapped batteries. All of the settings were saved and I didn’t have to go through resetting everything & waiting a few months for the truck to ”relearn” my driving style!Great product! I highly recommend it!

It works!!
I just got a chance to use it for the first time when I just replaced the battery on a Mazda CX-5. I connected the memory saver to the OBD and them connect a 9v battery to the memory saver. After I was done with replacing the battery and disconnected the memory saver, I started the car and all the memory settings were preserved. The Navigation system and stereo work normally.

Worked!
Worked great....but a bit on the flimsy side, cables could be a size or two heavier gauge and casings thicker.
