I've bought Powerball speakers before (1 was stolen, and another was dropped multiple times onto concrete) and this one is worse. It looks like they're using cheaper parts. The range is much shorter (about half the original distance before the signal became distorted) and the battery life is halved as well. I could use my old powerball for an entire 8-hour shift at work, but this ball only lasts a few hours. The ball also makes cheap-sounding telephone tones when powering up, linking, and on low-battery.

I seen this at a store and It was love at first sight <3 the bass is pretty amazing for how small it is. You can hear every detail when you play anything on it. Volume goes pretty darn high. Charges quick, and lasts long. In stores it's about $80 but on Amazon 10x cheaper <3 I recommend this little speaker. Worth every penny!
