SPLAT Washables, Totally Red, 1.5 Fluid Ounce

if you need a change of pace with your natural hair or something, this color dries easily and with a hairspray will set itself and last for maybe three to four days, the red is nice and vibrant, but I like the purple shade the best, it really pops! Its good for highlighting a certain section of your hair like I did it mostly when my hair was in a pony tail, I applied it on with latex gloves using my fingers on top of the smoothed back section of my hair and then I applied it to the ponytail at the back which looked really nice when dried, I also tried it on my hair when it was braided and it goes on very nicely that way,(it lasted a week!!!) now if you are looking to apply this at night to wear the next day I suggest getting a holding spray so it will stay on, because that really helps when wearing temporary shades. It will keep it from rubbing off so fast, over time the color will fade but it will not be so messy, Give it a try if you want to dye without the chemical fuss!!

Wow this definitely meets my expectations I have jet black hair and this purple shows up wonderfully, I applied while my hair was pulled back in a ponytail and it drys quickly with the blow dryer and a holding spray locks on the color; just applied it today not sure how long it will last but I will definitely get more when I use it all up, doesn't come with the applicator brush, but nobody really uses it anyway, it's not staining on your sink or anything, I washed it right off the latex gloves I used to apply and I didn't even need soap, so I can imagine if it stains your skin it will wash off easily, I just ordered it in red and I think these are much better than sprays like Jerome Russell because it won't fly all over the place or stain your neck and behind your ears and all those places like that, I wish they had these in other colors, but I love experimenting with temporary color and the different ways you can apply it, chalk, spray, gel, etc. but I definitely rate splash washables as five stars, if you want color the easy way

This was a bit tricky to apply with either hands or the applicator provided. It seemed that with hands, it globbed up, but with the applicator, it went on a tiny bit at a time. It looked great & lasted for 2 days, with the help of wrapping the hair in a towel overnight. I'd buy it again, but would be prepared with additional supplies for application.

I bought the red, and the color goes on a true red initially. By the end of the day it looked more purple on my light brown hair. Three washes later, my hair still looks coppery. If you are expecting it to wash out completely in one wash, you may be frustrated with this product. I’d recommend it, with that disclaimer. It was a fun way to show support for the SEC champion Georgia Bulldogs.

I have been using this wash out color for close on 2 yrs now to put a streak in my very silver hair😊. Love it! Produces a bright, clear, purple that lasts until I wash it out. No transfer, Easy & COMPLETE wash out. I receive complements constantly & frequently recommend the product.

Not as bright as pictured on a brunette, but turned out cute on light dirty blonde hair. It is alittle sticky and causes some tangling, but easy to use.Update - I am disappointed in that the box indicates that once color has dried it locks into the hair however it did rub off on my daughters clothes all day that she wore it.

I was disappointed in this product. This product is not easy to apply and once the product is on your hair, good luck getting it to look like anything other than a ratty mess! Applying the product was a pain using the little mascara type wand, if you're looking for a few purple highlights for Halloween, then sure this might work fine for you, but if you're looking for a full head of purple hair it's not worth your time. It takes forever to apply the color, and once on, it's its so chalky, heavy and practically unstyle-able that it's just not worth the hassle.

The product arrived quickly and we were not disappointed. I got it for my kids; they had been wanting red hair, but are still too young to do anything permanent or semi-permanent. The Splat Washables was easy to apply and easy to remove with shampoo and water. There was a bit of bleeding onto their necks and foreheads after a few hours, but it was to be expected--that also cleaned up easily. Happy kids, happy customer. :)

Would never buy it again. when I put it on it was ok, but when it dried it was a nightmare. It was a good colour and coverage but it got all over my face, my neck, my ears and my pillow. It was like powder. I strongly advise you not to buy it.

It is meant to be used more as a highlight, I thinkTo cover my daughter’s hair (mostly) for Halloween I used 3 boxes. Good thing the package came with 6 boxes. So, it’s great value!However, her hair was hard and there were purple flakes everywhere!Cover your pillow if you plan on sleeping with this in.Hair is not soft at all but it did come out both times I used it with no residual on her light brown hair.Good price and came quickly!
