Easy to install and integrate. Works great with Alexa.
I gave my wife a 4 pack of these 3-way light switches for Christmas. We had already integrated some smart plugs with Alexa so she was very excited to have some switches installed to turn the lights on and off. I've installed one 3-way switch so far and the installation took me about half an hour. The instructions provided were easy to follow and I had no problem with the physical install.Physical installTurn off the power to the lights you are working on at the breaker. All you really need to know is that ground is usually your bare copper wire, neutral is your white wire, the line is the wire supplying power coming from your breaker. You'll also have to identify your traveler wires. The wires on the switch are clearly labeled on the back of the switch, plus handy stickers are provided to mark the wires as you disconnect the old switch. The switch is approximately 1 3/8 inches deep. Make sure you have enough space in the switch box to install the switch before you order it. You'll also need room for the existing wires and the wires from the switch to fit (there are 5). If you are not comfortable working with the electrical in your house, hire an electrician to do it. Your electrician should be able to install four plugs in less than 2 hours.Integration with AlexaAfter you install the first switch, install the Smart Life app on your phone and follow the instructions to connect to your switch through wifi. Once you have done that, you can go into your Alexa app on your phone and integrate them with Alexa. It is easy to rename the switches to whatever you want to call them. You can even create a group so the switches can all be turned on and off together. In my case I created a group called 'upstairs lights' and can either turn off the lights individually by saying what you named it, for example 'kitchen lights' or by asking Alexa to turn on or off the group name you created, for example, 'upstairs lights'.AestheticsThese switches are white and rectangular. Even though they come with their own switchplate, I was able to use my existing switchplates for the install. They look great installed.

Great switches but take up a lot of space
I brought the 4 pack of single pole and the 4 pack of three way switches. All from TreatLife. These switches work great. These switches are very straight forward to install. The only issue I had was because of their depth getting them to fit into the electrical box was a bit challenging. I found that all of the electrical boxes in my house have have an excessive amount of wire in the box. I had to rearrange the wiring a few times on some of the switches before I could get the switch to sit flush with the wall. This problem is exaggerated when you have more than one of these switches next to each other. I am sure this problem would happen with all of the other smart switches on the market as well. You connect the switches to your Wifi using the SmartLife app. The app walks you through how to do this, again very straight forward. You can then add the switches to Alexa.I love these switches and despite spending more than expected time to install a few of these I would recommend to anyone looking to add smart switches to their smart home.

My house is so smart now :)
I'm super happy with this switch. I purchased the 4 pack and a 1 pack because I needed to replace 5 switches. This is a 3 way switch so you only need to replace 1 switch out of the two. I also used it in a 4 way setup with no problems. The bundle comes with the switch (obviously), caps for the wires, 2 screws, and a face plate. I used a #2 Phillips head, 1/4 flat head, and pliers for the installation. I also used a multimeter to test the voltage and definitely recommend that you do too! Even if you know which wire is what, you need to double-check that the power is off when you flip the breaker. The hardest part was fitting the wires and switch back into the wall after everything was hooked up, but somehow I managed. I'm very happy with my purchase and might end up changing out the other switches in the house later. This is the first time I've tried anything electrical on the house, but I'm a pretty handy person who worked with electricity in a lab setting. Other than identifying the wires (I got a bit confused), the whole process was straightforward. If you struggle to assemble IKEA furniture, maybe hire an electrician since tinkering with electricity is dangerous.Hooking up the switch to the internet was super easy as long as you have a smartphone. I'm using it in conjunction with my Echo Dot.

3-way smart switches work great
The media could not be loaded. The 3-way smart switches work great. The light on the switch when light is off makes it easy to see. Soft touch press toggles on/off. Works great with Alexa. After installed and power on it comes up automatically in setup mode and Smart Life finds it right away.Unfortunately almond color switches don't seem to exist yet anywhere that I could find. A light touch application with plastic compatible gloss spray paint solved that and it still functions perfect, and light on switch still visible.A smart switch is rather deep, so if you have a lot of wires in the switch box it takes some work to tuck everything in neatly. But it is possible.Do not try to sync to Alexa directly unless you have only one Amazon account in use (smart devices synced to Alexa only seem to work with one Amazon account). This issue is an Alexa issue not because of this device. In fact because the switch works with Smart Life there is a solution! Instead, if you program it to the Smart Life app, then you can go to Alexa app on each Amazon account and authorize the same Smart Life login via skills. Then the problem is solved... Alexa can control same switch from multiple Amazon accounts via the Smart Life skill. I've seen many people online complain of the issue with multiple accounts and Alexa with smart devices if they sync directly to Alexa. This trick does indeed solve this issue with Alexa. My first switches were a success and we will do others next! Some headaches in install but that is due to complex home wiring, not at all due to the switch, which had very solid instructions.
