Tested this when I was staining the porch. Started without it and drew a swarm of mosquitos. So I went in and put it on. It took a few minutes but as the scent (which is pretty nice) spread they took off. I continued seating on the project for several hours and had no more problems. I've also found I can sit on the back deck now without being chased indoors. The odd thing is it doesn't work for my wife, but maybe she is impatient with it. It did take a few minutes to begin working this morning. Anyway, this is My review and I love it. Since it's new I can't comment on the active life of the tabs, but it certainly works. I like that it's all DEET free. Has citronella and assorted flower scents.
