First time received proper and good product hence repeated the order for a send light bulb. the delivered product was a fused/broken bulb and hence asked for a replacement. The replacement was received in a couple of days, but on comparing with the first received bulb the brightness was found to be less than half, even though both the bulbs were of 40 watts rating.I will never repeat nor recommend this bulb, and consider myself lucky to get the first order correctly.There should be some checks carried out before shipping the product and package should mention HANDLE WITH CARE - FRAGILE.1st july update... the first received working bulb also blew up within 20 days ... Total waste of money ..... DON’T EVEN THINK OF IT

I asked SEVERAL TIMES "is this for lamps, is it small, or is it a ceiling or wall size" and the completely inept answer to my question kept being repeated: "it fits both." DUH! I wanted to know the SIZE of it, is it big like a normal bulb, or is it small for lamps. The inept answer was useless to me, but I ordered it anyway, and lo and behold, it arrives and the bulb is MASSIVE and doesn't fit in lamps: it is not a small bulb at all, proving my point that the answer, "both," was utterly incompetent and useless.UP YOUR GAME.

The product description specifically mentioned that it comes with squirrel cage, However i only recieved the bulbs and not the cage. I am absolutely fine with the functioning and quality of the bulb, but the missing squirrel cage is my cause of concern. Kindly resolve it whatever means it suits the Team Amazon.

It's got a lovely antique ambient feel...very classily pretty. There is no glare even if you look directly look at it.It's function is purely aesthetic and decorativeIssue remains how long will it last ? That only time will tell...just got it and we love it !

Worst packing i have ever seen 3out of 4 is broken and 4th one was not working i don't know about luminance but it is very fragile as you can se in the photos

I bought this bulb for a dim orangish light, antique bulb experience in my room when I'm not working or reading, for when I'm just watching a film. This bulb was a perfect fit. You will have to get the screw type holder which I was able to buy for Rs. 40.
