I highly recommend buying this product.It comes with all the connectors and sealants you need. The length of 48' is perfect to pull out the stove.

We always wanted to convert the wood burning fireplace to gas. So I had the stupid idea of bragging to my wife that I could build a nicer fireplace than a modern one we saw at a dealer. So when she took me up on it I had to do it.So to create the modern look, I got some inexpensive Broan stainless steel backsplash pieces, I bent them, glued them to some ceramic fiberboard, bought a burner pan, filled it with fire glass, pulled a permit, tapped into my main gas line, installed a through-the-wall gas ball valve, drilled through the ash box, routed all the pipes, welded a strong support stand for all that weight, got a Skytech AFVK-SP-MH/L, and job done!I wanted to be able to revert the fireplace to wood if I wanted to, so to get from the black iron pipe to the Skytech unit I needed a flexible hose long enough to get from the ash box outside all the way in the firebox. This kit allowed me to do just that, and the length was perfect in my case. Unlike some other brand kit that only include a pipe and 2 unions, requiring users to buy separate sealant and mix soap and water. This is a complete kit including gas connector, 3 unions, pipe thread sealant and leak test tube, which is everything required to install a gas range. The union threads aren't very polished but have no problem sealing the gas line.
