Tele Vue1.25" 10mm Delos Eyepiece

The views of Jupiter and Saturn were breathtaking.

There are two words to describe this eyepiece: AWE SOME!!!The field of view is wide (82 degrees) and eye relief is 20 mm...nearly an inch.I'm accustomed to 10mm eyepieces being like looking through the center of a washer. This one is just as sharp, edge to edge as my Televue 16mm II, but with additional eye relief. Will focus in the finder mode of my Questar. I'm going to be using this a lot!

Use it on great seeing nights for planetary viewing on my CPC 1100. Amazing for seeing Jupiter and it’s moons + Saturns rings.

After using cheapo starter eyepieces over the last 20 years on an old 8 inch SCT, I decided to upgrade when I bought a new 10 inch Dobsonian. Wow, what a difference. Flat field and stars sharp right to the edge. Much larger field of view as well. I noticed that deep sky objects not visible with a similar power plossl popped right into view when using this eyepiece. The only disadvantage will be the dent in your pocketbook. Should last me another 20 years though, so I'm not too concerned.

Great eyepiece. Very expensive, but well worth it. The adjustable relief is probably unnecessary for me; seems to be perfect all the way down the way it came. When I wear my glasses I flip down the rubber and flip it up when not. Adjusting the relief only seems to reduce the FOV for me. Anyway, that doesn't reduce my rating as it's perfect the way it is.

My new 10mm Tele Vue Delos has met all my expectations. It's an expensive eyepiece to be sure but the Delos certainly delivers the goods, providing a surprisingly expansive 72 degree true field of view with generous eye relief and good color neutrality. The adjustable height eyeguard works quite well. Optically and ergonomically, the 10mm Delos is an excellent eyepiece.

Another excellent eyepiece from tele-vue. Eye relieve is excellent and adjustable for individual preference. Not nearly as expensive as Ethos and in my opinion a better deal.

fov is amazing, clear to the edge with no distortion. One of my favorites
