my wife has lost multiple £100+ glasses in recent times. as we (glasses and lenses wearers) know, losing the thing that lets you see makes it hard to find the thing that you have lost. as such, i decided to get some cheaper glasses so that when they are lost we dont have to care.handily this comes in a 2 pack, so you can use the second pair to find the first pair! or just keep them in separate locations such as car or bedroom or kitchen (why am i listing locations, you know what places are)anyway, i am pleased with these. i think the prescription seems to be relatively accurate, though i don't know how to test them scientifically.

I have had 4 pairs and they have all broken at the hinge

I didn't have particularly high expectations of this product considering the price however the reviews here led me to believe these might be a bit of a bargain. Wrong!! They feel and look cheap which isn't a surprise. However I was expecting them to last at least a week. Pair number one lasted 3 days before one of the arms fell off. The second pair lasted two days before it suffered the same fate. Junk.

The old saying that "if you buy cheap you buy twice" must've been far from my mind here.I actually bought them 3 times, but have now learned my lesson and gone for some bendable ones.They allow you to read, but unfortunately the plastic on the arm joints is just too brittle. If you don't take them off with two hands or with one hand straight in the middle then they break. I got something in my eye and moved my finger under the lens, which snapped the arm off on one pair and I think I even sneezed in the destruction of another pair. Don't do it unless you are the most meticulous remover of specs...

Got a pair of these glass over the weekend (5 days ago) and have worn one or the other for 4 days and have now stopped (and reverted to my original prescription glasses). These cheap glasses were really messing up with my eyesight, within a day or two of use my eyesight had deteriorated and scripts that I could previously read without glasses I could no longer. Even with the glasses the quality of what I was able to see (written text) was worse than it was without the glasses.Conclusion: Save money elsewhere not on things that relate to your health. Get prescription glasses from proper optician - even if you get the cheapest pair they have still get the lenses that suit your eyesight.

Excellent value glasses. I normally wear varifocal glasses and have recently swapped to fixed range contact lenses (+2.5 and +3.5) so needed a pair of cheap reading glasses for very close work, e g. looking at my phone etc. I bought +1.5 glasses and they are perfect strength. Good quality glasses and pretty robust so far. Look good. My only negative is that I am a man with an average sized head and they are on the small side. They were advertised as men's/women's but when they arrived the packaging stated women's. they don't look like women's but they're a bit tight. I couldn't wear them for long periods.

...enabled me to see the TV more clearly - a very big benefit.I use prescription glasses for reading and have no problem with distance.However, I have noticed that the distance from chair to TV has been causing a tiny bit of an issue resulting in tired eyes. I've been buying many readers, which most of them broke within a month, some in a few weeks and I have had them who were knackered in just a couple of days.So, Yes, I was sceptic about these cheaper glasses, like I said most is rubbish!But with these, I am more than satisfied! The best readers for their price I have ever bought! I will recommend them, and the seller is a big plus too!
