Best Winter Helmet I've Ever Owned.
This is a good helmet all around, the modular swing is smooth and feels durable, the breath diverter is a life saver. Helps keep you warm and your glasses and visor clear. The little foam strip across the top is mildly irritant, but more than surrealism for all of its other benefits.A number of reviews say that they experience far too much air leaking, but the only leak I experience is from the base of the helmet. The air passes advertising the visor though without bothering me too much and helps further to keep fog off.The heating element works, probably as well as it can but there is a significant difference in how rapidly fog disappears as you start moving. Without it, I've driven a quarter mile and only cleared about a 6th of the fog from having stopped, but with the heat on, I get a clear view within about 5 seconds driving. Now the visor is not as clear as it could be, thanks to the thin plastic membrane that the heating element is built into. During the day is fine, but at night the headlights of oncoming traffic can obscure half of your vision. I can still drive alright, but it can be annoying. The last thing I think could be better is if this were battery powered. Having the cord is another thing you have to work around when getting on and off.Still, the best winter helmet I've ever owned.

Lots of futures but not comfort
This helmet has all the things to be a great helmet, modular, drop down tint thingy , heated visor etc, but it lacks in comfort, I ordered a size larger then needed and it fits snug as a helmet should. But there is discomfort in the ear area. For the price I'm not mad about it, it could have been a great helmet. But it's only a "good starter" helmetI will be buying something better next season.

Great helmet, missing heated cord.
Great helmet with the best breath box I've seen. Very comfortable, size runs small.Mine was missing the heated cable and this was pretty terrible.

Excellent Helmet loved it
I believe it is the same manufacturer as the CastleX helmets. Fit was perfect and the interior of helmet was warm and plush. I used mine without the breath guard with no problems. Electric shield worked perfect. Very light on the head.

Renewed faith in the Vega helmet computer
Be sure to read the whole review.I’ve had my Vega helmet for one year, which involved six rides. The inside plastic near the hinge to the visor has broke for what reason I am not sure. This year I have decided to use my heated visor shield. I have purchased a battery and attachments. When I try to plug the RCA cord to the helmet attachment I could not plug the attachment in into it’s locked position. Do you have any suggestions?I haven’t gotten any support after several weeks and requests for assistance. :(So recently I got a hold of motor helmets the supplier of the Vega helmet. And their support was fantastic. With the help of Vega helmets company, Vega replaced the entire helmet free of charge. Here’s a shout out to Brandon at Vega helmets and and and Jason at motor helmets for standing by your Customer And your products.Thank you.RRR
