Since the needle applicator does not lock into the lid to stay reliably in place, it drops down into the oil and then is an oily mess when you pull it up again. And beware if the thing knocks over without the applicator's plastic base tightly in place. What a hazard. :P

These are great and I'm very happy to find them in small quantity pieces instead of having to buy a dozen or a hundred. The bottle and cap are well made, standard fare but just to point out that they are not breakable or leaky junk like many on the market. Using my own tips as the ones provided were a bit small for what I needed but they look to be the normal variety of luer lock tips. One is holding and splooging thick cutting fluid and the other has a thin wd-40-like lube in it. Neither leaks. Liked these enough that I just bought more in other sizes.

All as advertised. Very useful product, and good vendor.

I got this to oil my long arm quilting machine. It has a couple places that can only be reached by a long needle tip. It also has a couple of places where you press the needle tip of the oil can to open the oiling site. It also has an oil hole that you have to slide the needle tip about 3” in. When I was oiling that particular site the tip fell into the oil can and half the bottle of oil dumped onto the fabric leader on my quilting machine. Very disappointed that the needle tip won’t stay assembled with the oil bottle. My husband superglued it back together for me. This product would be better if the needle tip screwed into the cap, then it could stay assembled.
