Beware, doesn't fit correctly
Looks exactly the same as my previous vacuum wand EXCEPT the button that attaches it to the hose handle is off by 1/4 inch. This means that the wand does not click into the hose handle so it won't stay attached. The only reason I did not return it is because companies like this change their design ever so slightly so you have to buy a whole new set up. I don't want a whole new set up, just a wand to replace the previous one that fell into pieces while vacuuming. A strong bungie cord is currently holding it in place which is not ideal but works.

Hard to tell which Wand you need....
Our wand died after about 6 years of use. It was honestly a little confusing trying to figure out which wand would work with our whole house Vac system since NuTone's current product line has had a lot of change in the past few years.Upon ordering this, I wasn't totally sure it would fit our system. NuTone needs to do a better job clarifying their product line and making it transparent what you are buying and what fits with what. Their lack of info is why I am dropping a star.The wand itself is well made, and if anything I would say the quality is superior and it seems more durable than the wand we replaced. The telescoping ratchet works really well, and I would recommend this purchase assuming it fits your system.

Not the same model
Item does not fit the 615 model, I ordered an CT715 tube, after trying numerous times to hook this up and figure out what was going on. It’s not even the same model as the old tubes. Shame on me for ordering to other place too early and not being able to return now.The electrodes will not go into vaccum hose head to turn on a power head for carpet.

Works perfectly, length adjustable. Not a perfect fit with my existing handle but easily fixed using 2 feet of electrical tape to close air gaps and improving retention.

Works well, but not the colour shown
We suspected that our vacuum head was no longer receiving power because the old extending tube had at some point been over-extended and could no longer be adjusted to a smaller length. We suspect that this broke the wires.This unit fixed the issue. The head now receives power and functions, but it should be noted that the plastic is black, not grey, as shown in the photo.

Just what I needed
My Husky vac wand got stuck and its locking mechanism broke after just couple of years. this is exact replacement wand which fits 100%. hopefully it lasts longer than two years

I expected to get a wand that was fully fuctioning. This was not.
