These brushes are made of nylon. I don’t use them for polishing, but instead use them for scrubbing. They clean stone floors (slate, quartzite, natural flagstone, other uneven surfaces, ceramic tile and grout) much better than using the Koblenze scrubbing brushes made of natural bristle (Tampico and cocoa ). They last much longer and are more durable. The natural fibers in the other brushes break off and don’t last more than a couple hours on uneven floor surfaces like slate. The yellow nylon brushes last for over 50 hours.

I wish I hadn't waited so long to get my Koblenz floor cleaner/buffer. We refinished our old oak floors four years ago, and I've been cleaning them by hand until this year. I finally made the plunge and bought the buffer/cleaner earlier this year, and also purchased these polishing brushes. They are awesome.I use the green pads to apply the OSMO wax cleaner with the buffer, let them dry, then go back over the floor with the polishing brushes. They make quick work of polishing the floor, and the wood looks amazing when I'm done.I've also used the brushes to just polish up the previously waxed floors. I make sure that all dirt and particles are cleaned away, then go over the floor with the polishing brushes. It revives the wax shine and looks great. I'm beyond happy with the Koblenz products, and highly recommend the buffer/cleaner (I bought the less expensive model and am very happy) and give two happy thumbs up for these polishing brushes!

I ordered these brushes to be used on wood floors on the basis that they would be softer that the scrub brushes. They are not. I have hesitated to use them for fear that they will damage the polyurethane. I will contact the company before I use them to ensure that they will not damage the coating.

I am very happy to be able to revitalize my rug cleaner with new brushes. Thanks for the fast delivery.

This product is for 4 slot polishing brushes; the Koblenz P4000 requires 8 slot brushes. The description for this product does NOT state that these are 4 slot polishing brushes... it's only after receiving shipment that the buyer discovers this... wasted time and efforts!

These brushes are designed to be sturdy and stand up under a lot of use. The results I got with them were surprising and great.
