Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Gi BJJ Gi for Men & Women Grappling gi Uniform Kimonos Ultra Light, Preshrunk, Free White Belt!!!

 I bought this Gi because of the price and because I needed some extra ones. I currently have the American Top Team Gi (which is WAY more expensive). I've used this for a few Jiu Jitsu classes and so far it has worked well for me. No rips or tears. I'm interested to see how it holds up over time. I pretty much alternate between this Gi and the American top team one. I will update this review after a year or so. Yes, I do think it will last for at least one year. I go to class theee times a week. Several folks in my class are curious about this and bought this Gi as well after grappling with me.Comparison:Compared to the America Top Team Gi this one is lighter in weight. I do think the fabric is a bit more breathable because it is lighter. The material is a little bit thinner. You can tell the difference when you are grabbing at the collar.Sizing: I'm 5'8 and about 160 lbs. I bought the A2 blue. It fits me well. I've washed and dried it for 20 mins in the dryer, then hung it for line dry. No shrinkage with that method. I'm glad I bought this size, fits me well. Plus you can tighten the pants. It’s easy to move around and roll with this. Feels comparison to my expensive Gi.Color: Even after washing the blue color is vibrant.Overall: If you want an extra Gi, this is a good one to purchase! Very affordable and does the job. No complaints!

I like this gi for two reasons: it's cheap and it's minimalist (not too many patches or markings).In terms of fabric quality, it's decent -- comparable to my Sanabul Essentials.In terms of sizing, I'd strongly recommend that you buy ONE SIZE up to allow for some shrinkage, which could occur even if you cold wash and hang dry it. If you want it to shrink it further after the first couple of washes, you could always put it in the dryer.If you have any issues with the product, contact HAWK's customer support. I'm 5'4" and ordered size A1.The kimono top feels very nice and seems to be the correct size. Right out of the packaging it is just slightly too large for my arms, and it will shrink in the first laundry and them probably fit me just fine.The pants are a different story. They are already too short - which is odd, since with my height I am close to the low end of the sizing chart for A1. On top of that, I have short legs and need to buy all my regular pants in 'short' versions. Considering this, the pants should be a little long for me - instead they end a good inch above my ankles. I dread putting them in the laundry. I have no idea how this is supposed to fit someone with regular legs.On top of that, the pants have a different material and color. I know most pants are made different than the kimono tops, but these ones look like they came from a different Gi altogether. The pants feel very cheap, and like plastic. The pants also don't have the same white color as the top, they are a much brighter white. Even in dim lighting it's immediately visible. It looks like I borrowed the pants off of a different Gi, when I wear both together.The low price is not really an excuse for this, since Sanabul and Athlete are similarly priced, I own Gis from both brands, and neither have this issue.

I'm a lanky 6'2" 225lbs and the A4 fit perfectly. I do not put the gi in the dryer but it still shrunk slightly the first few washes. I use this gi in my regular rotation about 2-3 times a week. Washing it on cold after every use. No signs of wear, fraying or tears. Great for everyday use without the worry of destroying an $150 gi.

I got two of these BJJ gis, for my sons. The A4 fit them both well, and they looked great. They used them rolling and found them comfortable, even in the over 100 degree summer heat in Texas. I previously purchased a heavier weight Hawk BJJ gi for myself. These gis are lighter weight, great for summer and traveling, and the design is understated. They looked great and my sons said they felt great. We haven't yet washed, but if I have additional info on wear, I will update my review in the future.

Only used it once so far. I read the other reviews prior, so I ordered a size larger then I would normally. Perfect fit and comfortable. The only thing that would make this gi better is if it had the breathable crotch area like most gis. But for the price, it’s awesome. I will order another when more colors are available.

Havent trained in it yet, feels great though. Isnt very heavy but thats okayJune 11 2019 Update, love this gi, have bought more. It did shrink a bit but is still excellent.Some updated pictures too

I'm 5'5" 142lbs male and ordered the A1. I tried it on when I got it then washed it in hot water and dried on high. I was surprised to find it fit just as good after. Just got done training with it for the first time, and I couldn't tell any difference from previous gi's I've owned. It's a relief to occasionally find things you need priced fairly. In my opinion most gi's are overpriced, this brand is a good value. If I have any problems I'll update my review. Ordering a couple more since I like wearing a freshly laundered gi every time I train.
