True North--Maybe a Spoiler?
I am officially in love with Nico Soltero! Make him about 15 years older and drop him off on my doorstep, please and thank you!!!I'm not very good at writing reviews, so I don't know if there will be spoilers in this review...so, I dunno...tread carefully? This is probably the only story in this series where Layla Barros doesn't completely get on my nerves. I like that she finally stands up to her dad and that she puts herself out there to help Nico's family. (When her usually stern and rather uptight father flirts with the clerk in the records office, I literally laughed out loud!)I've already mentioned that I'm totally and madly in love with Nico, so I don't really know what to say about him. He has been so strong, and loving, and kind, and generous...and I could just gush on and on... throughout this series and it's more of the same in this story. If God would send me a man to love me like Nico loves Layla, I would die a very happy woman. And if course, the requisite hot and steamy stuff is here, too. This is the last book in the series, so no more dreaded cliffhangers and it's a really beautiful HEA.(P.S. Make sure to get the extended epilogue by signing up for the newsletter. It's so worth it!)

Nico and Layla
So much love. So beautiful. And little Grace. My. Heart. There are absolutely some excellent coping mechanisms for getting through trauma, but, as Layla and Nico exemplify, love breaks through all of them. I was absolutely frustrated to find that Nico and Layla's story extended through three books (instead of just one), but their story has been worth it. It will be a LONG time before I forget:NicoLaylaMateoGraceMaggieAllueSelenaGabeCarmenK.C.AlbaMs. AlvarezShamaCherylSergioAnd their story as a whole.

The perfect ending to an amazing series
Reviewed on behalf of Endlessly Reading book blog. There are so many things I could say about this book. The series in general, really. But the one thing that I have to say is, it was absolute perfection. Nicole French closed out the Bad Idea series in the best possible way with True North.I have so many emotions invested in Nico and Layla’s story and Nicole did not disappoint me in any way. She has such a way about her writing that the reader has no choice but to fall fully into the story. No matter what the characters are going through, whether good, bad, or ugly, the reader is always right there in the thick of it with them.Nico and Layla’s love story is real, raw, and beautiful in all its difficulties. That they finally have a genuine chance at happiness together after everything they have been through, and still have to face, filled me with joy.I am sad that Nico and Layla’s story has come to an end, but I loved every minute of their journey and I will never forget the epic-ness of this series.

💜💜I love Layla and Nico so much!!!!! 💜💜
This book was so many things.... but basically it was fan-freaking-tastic! I swear Nico and Layla have one of the most drama filled stories! Its hard to talk about without spoilers... and I say this because I don't want to ruin the first 2 books for anyone who has not read them. After the end of the last book, I was very happy to see that they were together in this book. But them being together does not keep them from having issues. Them being together brought on a whole other set of hurdles for them to get over. I have been so drawn in to their story that I am so proud of them! I cried tears of pain when they went though sadness and pain. I cried tears of joy when they had cause to celebrate. And when they each passed another milestone I felt the pride as if they were my own family! I could not have asked for a better wrap up to Nico and Layla's story!Nicole has dragged me in more and more with each book she writes. I am not sure how she will do better, but I am quite excited to see what she comes up with next!

When you find your True North!
What an amazing series. This is one of my favorite couples this year. Nico and Layla mean so much reading about their journey. I'm hoping this really isn't the end for them but even if it is, I'll cherish them like I really knew them. Their story will suck you in and make you feel like your experiencing everything with them. The writing of their story was that great. When I read Bad Idea, I didn't think I was going to like it as much as I did. I not only liked it, I loved it. So this Bad Idea series was the best idea ever! You'll experience all the highs and lows and fall in love. Highly recommend this series to everyone.

Lots of Spanish lost me, but it's still worthy
It was a really good story, but there were too many untranslated words and phrases I didn't get because I don't understand Spanish. You need to add a disclaimer to the book's summary before you buy this series.

Amazing End To This Series!
What an incredible end to this trilogy. The last book in the story of Nico and Layla will forever hold itself in your heart. The story continues with Layla returning to Nico, but is she the same woman who left? Can she let go of her tragic past? Nico will do anything and everything for her to make her forget and move forward. The way this author writes, you can feel every emotion these characters are trying to convey. I literally cried at times! But that just shows how amazing this story is. This series is so well worth the read!

Perfect ending!
This book was the perfect ending of this series from how we left off at the end of Lost Ones. The story picks up with Layla returning to New York at the end of summer and learning how to handle the events that happened in Lost Ones. I loved the way this series ended. There were times through out that I wanted to throw my kindle across the room but i couldn't put it down! Even better the second time through and picking up on things that i missed the first time around.

Heartbreakingly beautiful
I am willingly sharing my review with Endlessly Reading book blog.True North is book three of the Bad Idea series, you definitely need to read the others first. I highly recommend this book. Nicole French is phenomenal at writing angst, the previous books in this series she has had me near tears with Nico and Layla's story and True North was the same. But fear not, you will slowly have your heart down back together. I have loved Nico and Layla from when I read Bad Idea, my first taste of this amazing author whom has made me love reading books with angst. You will go through a blend of emotions while reading because what Nico and Layla have can only be described as a bitter sweet romance because let's be real, no relationship is perfect and we all carry our own baggage. I love the Bad Idea series because it's something real that you'd see everyday. If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would, because this book deserves it and more!

Fantastic Series
I thoroughly enjoyed the entire three books of this series I read all three back to back I couldn't wait to jump back into Layla and Nico's story it was that consuming to me. I can't remember a series of books I've enjoyed so much in a long time. I hate to say goodbye to these two but I hear there may be another book coming soon so that has made my day. I have just bought Broken arrow a prequel to this series and can't wait to dive back in.
