The tools it came with, while cheap, were right for the job. But the battery pack was about 2mm too wide and the wires to the Samsung connector were too long which made it very difficult to install. In the process I accidentally broke the power button so now it's trash, but even so... with the new battery installed it still wouldn't even show the battery charging image. When I put the old battery back in it did display it charging (while tablet is powered off) so I had to return the battery as defective. And this is the first time returning an Amazon item that I have to pay for shipping and the shipping label can't be used because it's not compliant with shipping regulations (6pt serif font, for example).

Was easy to install but does not last as long as original battery

Well my spouse was said what the heck,may as well try to install a new battery in our 2014 Samsung 10.1 tablet,,thats right ,fairly new tablet. I ordered it for her.Once it arrived she patiently followed the video instructions,somewhat challenging to pry the cover off,but taking your time it will come off.Installed the battery as described,,Voila,,battery works great .She fully charged the battery ,,,used the tablet a while in the evening,left it unplugged overnite and still had 88% charge the next morning.Success.Definitely recommend NewPower99 batteries,just follow the instructions closely on the video that is enclosed and don't get frustrated..be patient.

This product may have been used to replace batteries of the version 1, but was seriously out of date for my Samsung tablet - which was by no means new. Be very careful. It was not worth the trouble and I ended up having to replace my tablet all together.

Was a little scared with the thought of changing a battery in my Samsung tablet. Came with great instructions necessary tools. so it was easier

Works with Samsung Galaxy 10.1 (2014). It's not easy for amateur to replace it but it is worth it, at least the tablet can be charged up to 100% now.

Totally didn't last. The battery worked for like 2 months then just crapped out and would accelerate to empty. Waste of money.

It worked for a day it doesn't work like I thought it would.
