This blanket is a miracle. My daughter suffers from anxiety and had not slept more than a few minutes at a time for months. The first night with this blanket she slept 2 1/2 hours straight and slept for a total of 9 hours. So happy I made this purchase.

I was never hot which was my primary concern. As for the weight, there is something to the distributed pressure that is seriously comforting without feeling restrictive. It's firm but gentle and you can still move around. I feel asleep listening to a guided meditation that goes deep underwater, so the pressure of the blanket was a terrific compliment. I slept through the night, woke up before my alarm, and for the first time in a long time look forward to going to bed tonight.

I have purchased multiple weighted blankets in multiple price ranges. I think this blanket is a great value. It has nice small pockets for the weight to be evenly distributed. That makes a huge difference from my experience. It seems well made and comfortable. The material is soft enough. I would buy again.

I have never been a good sleeper. I've always had trouble falling asleep and staying asleep. I have a hard time relaxing, winding down, and quieting the mind.This blanket has been very helpful in getting better sleep. It helps me to relax my body at bedtime, which allows me to fall asleep much easier. While it is not so magical as to keep me asleep, I find that I am able to fall back to sleep much easier when I do wake up during the night.I like that the material of this blanket is a basic, smooth cotton feel rather than the plushy fluffy fabric that most weighted blankets seem to be. I think the cottony fabric keeps the blanket from feeling too hot.This blanket seems to be made very well with quality materials. The "weights" inside feel like large grain sand, and are not lumpy, bumpy, or uncomfortable in my experience.I will note, however, that the description says it fits a queen size bed - I found it to be a tad too small for that. It just covers the top surface of the mattress, with no blanket overhang on the edges of the bed.

Let me start by saying that I totally loved this blanket for the first few weeks... I still love it but I can’t use it. After a few weeks it began leaking whatever the F is inside of it. All those little dark spots on my sheets are the contents of the blanket. I woke up feeling like I was sleeping on sand. I can’t find where it is leaking from anywhere. I had a duvet cover made but it still does not stop the stuff from getting in my sheets. I’ve had to put it away until I can find a way to fix it. I am terribly disappointed because the blanket really does help with sleep.

I bought this as a Christmas gift. I bought the 20lb weight. It is important to look at what weight of blanket you buy depending on the person's weight. I really didn't understand that until the blanket arrived. I loved the two sided colors. Stitching seems well done.

I ordered two blankets, exactly the same. The first was weighted. The second blanket had none of the beads in it that make it weighted. Its just a blanket. This is poor quality control.

The blanket is really comfortable, and I have noticed an improvement in my sleep since using it. I tend to wake up a lot during the night, and this blanket helped prevent that. The price is also fantastic! I have seen weighted blankets that range much higher for the same value. My only reason for docking one star is that the blanket is a little small. I ordered the queen sized blanket, and it is not quite wide enough for my bed. The length is ok, but the blanket barely touches the edges of my mattress so there is no extra room on the sides. It makes it way too small for both my husband and myself to sleep under it together. Other than that, I am totally happy with my purchase.
