SKBSKB-61 Deluxe Double Cutaway Electric Guitar Case

This is a quality case. Very sturdy and solid, yet very light. I'd be confident taking it on a plane. Fit my late 70s SG perfectly.

"Inspired by Gibson" Epiphone SG Standard '61 headstock is a little bit wider than the older style Epiphone and Gibson. Body fits but headstock does not.

I bought another case or two labeled as customized for an SG. They were not and did not fit the guitar securely. This one works great. No shaking inside and nicely padded. It has hard plastic type latches. But, they look strong and are easy to use. The case is not too bulky either.My only knock is that the case did not come with the keys for the TSA lock. But, not a huge deal.

Awesome case! Fits my viper perfect. No movement what’s so ever! I am a little worried about the handle as many have had issues with it. I’m just being careful with it when transporting. Other than that great case!

Fantastic case. I don't know who gave it a bad review, but it's nonsense. This case is built like a tank and my Gibson SG fits perfectly fine. They leave a bit of extra space for the top horn of an ESP Viper, but my Gibson will not move a mm in this case. SKB makes some of the best cases on the market and this one is no exception.

The case was in great condition. The broken handle was easily fixable and saved a lot of money on a full priced case. My Gibson SG fits in nicely with only a minor gap between the case and the bottom of the guitar body. Otherwise, the case is as described will aid in my travelling endeavors.

received this product with the handle broken. This does not say much for the ruggedness of the design when the handle can be broken while in a shipping box. Handle cannot be easily replaced by end user. If not for the broken handle, this product seems good, fits my SG very well. Too bad about the handle. I returned it.

Not the best fit but much lighter to carry than the stock (tkl) sg case.

Das Produkt ist sicherlich hervorragend.Da ich es gebraucht erworben habe, kann ich nichts über etwaige Geruchsentwicklung etc. sagen. Das Case ist unerwartet leicht und mit seinen 4 Verschlüssen wirklich bombenfest verschließbar. die Auskleidung im Innenraum ist ansehnlich und sieht hochwertig aus, ein großes Fach für Gurt u.ä. ist vorhanden. Leider passt meine neue Epiphone SG 400 nicht hinein! Weder von der Länge, noch vom Korpus her. Der Kopf steht über und die Taille des Korpus ist zu breit (siehe Bilder!) Schade. Ich hätte mich über ein so tolles Case gefreut.Update:An der "Taille" lässt sich die Gitarre versenken, hinein drücken, am Kopf steht sie dann aber trotzdem noch über. Ich möchte nicht ausprobieren, ob ich das Case dann trotzdem schließen kann. Dafür ist mir die Gitarre zu schade.

Top verarbeitet, sehr leicht, macht einen stabilen Eindruck, wuchtige klobige Schlösser. Das Case steckt bestimmt einiges an Stössen weg. !!! Für meine EPIPHONE G 400 Pro könnte das Case einige Zentimeter länger sein. Da ist nur noch 1cm zwischen Kopfplattenspitze und Casewand !!! Sonst gleitet die SG ohne Druck hinein und passt perfekt.

Despite being advertised as fitting all Epiphone SG, it didn't fit mine.The case itself if nice quality, sturdy and well made. Only downside is the handle seemed a little weak. Would have been a nice protective case if it did fit.More than likely made to fit Gibsons.

Instant fit (Gibson SG Special Faded). Had to remove my strap for an ideal fit, but that's a minor point. Guitar comes out of the case in tune now since your machine heads are impervious to bumps and jostling in transit.
