Fabric Merchants Double Brushed Poly Stretch Jersey Knit Roses Black/Ivory, Fabric by the Yard

I bought 1 yard to use as my daughter's comfort "blankies". I cut it into 6 smaller pieces that she can snuggle in bed.We typically buy jersey cotton (t-shirt) fabric, so I knew I was taking a chance with this. I'm glad I did. This is not the shiny, cold, bathing suit fabric some of these turn out to be.Fabric is extremely cozy, a little bit fluffy (as in brushed), lightweight, and the print is exactly like the photo. It does not appear prone to fading quickly. This, like jersey cotton, I was able to cut and leave raw edges with little to no fraying, which is one of the reasons I like it so much for my use.I'm not sure if multiple yards purchased will come.as precut individual pieces or one continuous piece because I only bought one. I also did not take any exact measurements of the fabric.

I am so impressed with the quality of this fabric!! I will definitely be buying from them again. This fabric is ideal for womens casual shirts, dresses, underwear, and more. Its lightweight but durable enough. I used 1 yard to make a bralette top (in image), and 3 pairs of underwear. I would compare this material to that of your softest T shirt plus a nice stretch. Its hard picking fabric online, so Im really glad i found this!

My 12 year old daughter made this dess for 4-H this year. She said this material was difficult to work with because it kept slipping but hey she is use to working with cotton and this is a total different type of material. The dress turned out great cause its headed to state fair!The material itself is bold in color. Extremely soft! Has pretty good stretch to it.

I am still making a sun dress with this. Make sure your pattern is Stretch fabric appropriate. I love it and will love this dress in the warm weather. Using a free sundress pattern from so-sew-easy.com. I used the Empire of the Sun-dress pattern.

It doesn't look how I expected. Yes it's soft and pretty but not what I was going for. I ordered the ivory floral. It's white nothing ivory about it. The floral print is also larger then what it looks in the stock pic.

After 3 weeks of trying to find the perfect fabric for a customer, I stumbled along to this! It's perfect, and sooo soft. It can be used in a multitude of projects

Great for PJs, underwear, skirts ,pants wish I had more. Soft to the touch.
