Industries 1309 4" x 8', White, Vinyl Vent Hose

Im going to keep this short and sweet. I bought this for my ferrets not my dryer. So if you are looking for a review on how this tube is with your dryer, please move on from this review.My ferrets love this tube and they keep going in and out non-stop. The material is very high quality and does not rip easily. One of my ferrets bite the tube constantly and I have not found a hole yet, so big plus! The price for the tube is very reasonable as well.For anyone who bought the ferret ball pit, this tube fits in the tube hole perfectly! It is actually basically same size as the tube the ball bit comes with.

This is a flexible vinyl hose, as described. It seems to be sturdy (but if it proves otherwise over time I will update this review). I use it for the vent from my bathroom ceiling fan. I imagine it could work well as a tunnel for a small animal, though it might be chewable. You could use it to make robot arms for a Halloween costume, or as a tennis ball chute if you need to move a bunch of them from the attic to the basement. Get creative! Or, be like me and use it for your bathroom vent.

It was okay. Thin material, I ended up buying a more rigid piece (for a lot more money) as I don't think this would last long term. I should note, I intended to use this as a replacement for a portable air conditioner that needed a vent hose of 3-5'. I'm sure this would be fine as a vent hose for a bathroom fan or similar, but not for a portable AC.I did not have issues with the smell, but I unwrapped it outside and let it sit for a day.

Unlike everyone else here, I did not buy this as a ferret toy. I might have, but the state of california does not allow pet ferrets. I bought this to vent stank from my litter box to outside my window.If you're buying this for a cat box too, I used a can of pumpkin pie mix (2 pies worth) to stick into the side of the box and this fit PERFECTLY over it. It traps the air nicely and does not seem to leak at all. It can be compressed to less than 8' long without restricting airflow.

Using as a dryer hose & while you can't be as aggressive as you could with a metal hose, it's infinitely more flexible. Needed to get my dryer closer to the wall & I have achieved that with this.

works great! You can not find the vinyl ones in big boxed hardware/home stores anymore and I don't like the ones they sale. I wanted and "old school" one...lol! It came quickly and has been hooked up for 6 months and haven't had any issues!

I purchased this to extend a home made air conditioning unit to keep my toddler cool in the car, it is very flexible and works as i need it to. The only issue is that it smells pretty bad right out of the package, almost nauseating but over time it dissipates. I used it for an unconventional reason. It specifically says NOT to be used as an exhaust hose. Please make not of this.

I paid much more for a different house prior to purchasing this one and it was terrible. Although I would recommend going slow and careful whole installing as the vinyl is thin and will rip. It was plenty long enough so the small tear that I end up with, was easily remedied.

Its actually white, not silver. Exactly as shown. Will do the job.

Works well as a air conditioner replacement hose on a Maytag portable AC.

It's worth reiterating that this is only for cold air venting and is not appropriate for dryer venting. It does say this directly on the packing, even though amazon has dryer vent in the title of this product.
