Not your typical supportive sneaker
Beautiful sneaker! It is hard to believe that this shoe is an orthotic. Unlike a lot of other orthotic sneakers, this one is not overly padded and cushy resulting in a bulky, chunky-looking shoe. The leather is thin and conforms right to the foot for a slender, light sneaker. The overall arch support is good, but if you require an arch support you may still need it because most of the support is in the heel (hence the name "orthaheel").I have pretty severe plantar fasciitis, and find it difficult to shop for shoes that are supportive and styled for younger people; this sneaker is a nice combination of aesthetics and comfort. The sneaker is priced fairly for an orthotic, but over my budget to consider buying a second pair in another color.

These shoes made up for me being bullied in middle school
I was recently diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and had to stop dog walking because of it. I found these and figured I'd wear them to help with my very high arches as I healed up. I have a hard time wearing other shoes now, and that's coming from someone who has 12 pairs of boots.Great support, love the color (though they do get dirty rather easily) stylish and comfortable. Not the most amazing arch support for very high arches, but good enough to help walking around town. Saving up for another pair!

Orthotic Not Removable
I bought these since I had a pair of pink "Joeys." These seemed like a poor relation even tho the style was the same. The innersole orthotic was not removable which was a key reason for buying so I could utilize my own orthotic. Plus the workmanship seemed slipshod. A knockoff? That was my thought. Certainly not the Vionic quality I am used to from the many pairs of shoes boots sandals and sneakers that I own.

Good support, low quality
I love these shoes. I ordered a full size bigger than I wear in Vionic sandals. They had been going great until last Friday. Suddenly there was a hole between 3 of the pin holes. Within 1.5 days, it became this giant rip. They aren’t wearable at this point. They are only 3.5 months old, and worn maybe 3 times per week indoors. I will buy again as they feel great but it’s disappointing a $100 shoe wears that easily.

Great if you have short feet
I got these the mint green color of these shoes on a great sale on Amazon. They are not as sturdy as the Classic Walkers I bought in 2014 and have worn frequently for exercise and travel. But at about half the price they are very cute and comfortable. They can't be polished, so they will show wear more quickly than other shoes. They are also soft nubuck, which is not as firm as the regular leather in the Classic Walkers. But they are comfortable for me. The main issue I saw online was that the high backs cause some wearers blisters. I've worn them at home for extended periods already and found that with my short feet, I don't have that problem. I also wear socks with them all the time. If you are looking for shoes that will last for years and years, buy the Classic Walkers. But if you want a casual sneaker that comes in attractive colors, is light and airy and has good support, Joey is for you. Even though I have wide feet in the front and the shoe looks narrower than normal, the wide width fits me perfectly.NOTE: I've worn these shoes outside to walk in a lot on a hot day and found that they just are not as comfortable as Vionic's Classic Walker sneaker. I'll probably keep them since they are cute and are fine for casual wear, but they are not for all-day walking, especially in the hot Florida summertime.

The most comfortable shoes I own are two identical Vionic sandals - one brown, one black. But these are a very close runner up! Very comfy, light weight and good arch support, good cushion under heel. So happy to have tried these! Wish they came in brown too!

Disappointing
I expected something better for this price and from Vionic. This shoe runs large. Maybe that’s why the toe area buckles so much, or maybe it’s the design. The description is “concealed orthotic arch support.” It is so concealed I sure couldn’t find it. You cannot remove the insole to add your own. And I just don’t understand that hard white thing at the back of a soft shoe. The leather is very soft but there are hard rubber (?) areas on the sides of the shoes near the sole. Those areas just feel very hard when sockless. Back they go. I did like the color-gray-and the perforated suede.

Good shoes if you are fit and walk well.
I am very arthritic and I walk carefully . I therefore would have appreciated a note along side the description stating that one walks differently in these trainers. I was surprised to read that one should wear them at home first in order to get used to them and that is advise for all. I tried them across the bedroom and could not balance in them. No doubt because I've walked badly for a long time.I've

Avoid!
Not fit for purpose! I’ve had these trainers for 3mths, & I wear them 3 times/wk. As you can see they’ve developed a hole.Absolutely not worth the price!

Muy incómodos
Estas zapatillas me resultaban muy incómodos. Tengo el pie cavo, pero aun así el soporte del arco del pie hacía daño al andar.
