I Am a Tiger

We checked out this book from the library. The first night we read it at bedtime my boys (2 and 5) were laughing so hard my husband had to come upstairs to investigate. We read it three times the first night and every night for two weeks.When it was due to go back to the library I knew we needed a copy for home. Every time I see it sitting on the bookshelf when I walk by it makes me smile… because I am a tiger and you are a lollipop.We read it as a bedtime story, but it would also be great for classroom stories or library story times.

I read it to my children in my reading ministry and they LOVED it!

One of the funniest books I’ve read with my daughter.

We went to the bookstore and my 4.5 yo picked this book because of how cute it was. I then ordered it from Amazon because it was cheaper and the book itself was big so we didn’t have to carry. I scan other small books we bought from that physical store except this one which I quite regret it. The book came 2 days later with poor packaging. It was in paper book without any wrap inside. It was raining the day the delivery came, grab it in a while later and some part was wet. The book itself was wet and bit damaged.My daughter had fun reading it about 2 times and that’s all. This book was thrown away. It’s cute and silly, but once you finish reading it, you will feel “so what” like what is the point of the story. My daughter asked why the mouse wants to be a tiger, why tiger has to be confused when mouse says he is not a tiger, why why why........It’s cute but quite makes no sense

This book is delightful! I saw a copy that a friend had, and had to get one for myself and for the children in my life. It catches their imagination, and the humor in it is appreciated by adults and children alike. I have shared it with children from three years old to ten, as well as several adults. Everyone enjoys it.

This is a wonderful book! Even my second graders loved it. The ending gave them a creative writing idea.

Is amazing!!

This story IS fantastic! My three and five year olds have been roaring with laughter at this - the first time we read it lead to three more consecutive readings and the laughter was still strong and contagious too! The pictures are sweet and full of character and we love that sassy little tiger already. This book will be a firm favourite!

So so funny! The character of Mouse is unforgettable, as are the faces of the bemused animals he leaves in his wake. Hilariously written with such expressive illustrations - this is one to go back to again and again and will still be funny every time you read it!

Love this book, my 3 year old loves it and asks me us to read it to him over and over again, and as a parent, this one is a good one to read as it's actually really funny!

We loved this tale of the little trickster mouse. He’s such a wonderfully charming character. Each spread was so beautifully designed and illustrated and my little ones thought some of the descriptions were just hilarious! We keep coming back to this one and I think we will for a while.

Great story! Mouse with attitude. My 5yr old loves this story, as do I reading it and having it read to me!!
