Remote controlled flying saucer flies, powered by twin rotors. A battery pack holding 8 AA batteries recharges the flying saucer, and the remote control is powered by 3 AG13 batteries.

Indoor doggie excercise
We've purchased this saucer in the past from other sellers. The package is different from this seller's picture, which is the previous packaging design. It is the same product though. The only issue is that the remote doesn't work. Fortunately we have remotes from previous saucers and they work with this new ship. After having several, we are aware that the motors in the ships eventually wear out after a reasonable amount of use, which is quite a bit. We use them to exercise our little dogs inside the house. They love it. At the current price of $23.12, it's worth it. However, it is a bit higher than our others before. I'm giving it a 3 star rating because of the remote not working. We won't know how long this motor will last until we wear it out.

Pretty cool when it works
About a year ago I bought one of these for myself because I was intrigued by the descriptions and pictures. Considering that the price was a little higher than similar items, I figured it would be a product of better quality. Turns out I was wrong. When it finally arrived, it didn't work at all. The RC UFO itself would power on, but the controller wouldn't. I thought maybe the batteries in the controller were dead, so I bought new ones, which didn't solve the problem. So I put everything back in the packaging and box the way I found it and returned it to the seller, telling them this particular unit must have been defective. I ordered three more RC UFO's of the same type from the same seller, both as a gesture of good faith, and because I still wanted to see it in action. Two of them were also defective right out of the boxes. The charger for one didn't work, and the RC UFO from the other box didn't work. I also returned those two units to the seller. But everything in the third one worked properly, and to this day it still does. The only thing I don't like about it is that you can only fly it up and down, and not forward, reverse, left, or right. It's also a little hard to control its flight at first, but soon I learned how to work it better through trial and error. Overall, I think the price is a little too high for what you actually get, but it's still a fun little gadget to goof around with.

save your money
My daughter had this toy last year and loved it so much she asked for another one for Christmas this year, (the cat unfortunately loved it too and broke it). This one didn't last three hours on Christmas morning.

broke in no time
Propellor is held by a polyurethane piece that breaks very easily. This material cannot be glued. It was fun for a day or two, then broke. very poor quality construction.

Disappointing
It only goes up and down, no other controls. Helicopters are much more fun. The flashing lights were very cool.
