Merax Mobile Computer Desk with Pullout Keyboard Black Office MDF Computer Desk

I am using the desk as I write the review. It is very sturdy, and the top shelf is handy for me. The top shelf mounts to the main shelf with clamps,. and it can be located anywhere you like - you can even clamp it to the side of the table if you want to instead of to the back. It appears to be designed to hold a monitor, and it is very strong and could do that without a problem. I happen to have two printers - one is a small HP color printer, and I put it on the shelf. My larger printer is BW, and I use it for most things as the ink is cheaper than using the color printer for printing BW documents.My only complaint is that I wish the keyboard tray was a little higher. I may get some larger wheels to raise the desk a bit, as it could be about six inches higher for my use. The wheels have a threaded rod that allows you to screw them into the bottom of the lower rails,. I think they are 1/4 20 threads - not 100% sure - but they look pretty standard.The bottom shelf is also very sturdy, and is deep enough to hold my printer. The table top platform is large with a curved front, making it more stylish. I did not use the side rack that is designed for holding CD's. It seemed strong enough, but I just didn't like the looks of it.

There are no pre-drilled holes in the metal frame to attach the top of the desk, nor are there any pre-drilled holes on the desktop to secure the printer stand. It's going to be a hassle to disassemble, repack, and return to sender because of defective parts. I wish I had read the review from an individual who purchased this desk who had the same issue. I definitely won't accept a replacement. Do yourself a favor and find a better manufactured product.

Meh. Not my first choice.I got what I paid for. Holes weren't drilled on top bar, so the main table section just "rests" on it. As long as I never apply force or fall asleep at my desk, I should be in good shape. It must be difficult to drill 4 more holes in this particular item and I'm sure the person responsible for assuring that doesn't happen, just had a bad day. I hope others are happy with their purchase.

At the completion of assembly , there was no screw hole to attach computer table to scaffold! No predrilled complement for screw to be threaded through desktop to anchor unto metal frame! Engineering design failure or production line miscue - computer desk is worthless embarasssment !

Came with the legs not drilled to mount to table top...had to drill holes and was then not a perfect alignment, but is up now.

HE MIGHT INCASE ALL AROUND WITH 3-4 PIECES OF WOOD TO PROTECT IT EVEN MORE! Literally missing pieces, didn't line up and overall piece of crap. Ended up throwing out. Not worth the fuss

wheels are a little flimsy. the plastic on one wheel broke off when moving around the room.
