Average not hot good for ribs and butts

Bought this looking to try different rubs leading up to the summer cookout season. This tastes just like a McCormicks Sweet and Smokey Rub but ALOT saltier... had girlfriend do blind taste test and she agreed.

I purchased these based upon several BBQ sites that rated the "Dirt" highly. I was disappointed in the smaller containers since most rubs come in the large plastic spice shakers. These are very small jars with no shakers. It's my fault for not reading the description fully, but you use a lot of rub when you are making full racks of ribs, so I assumed they were bigger. We tried this without a binder and compared it to two other dry rubs. The rack with the "Dirt" was judged "good" by our guests, but was beat out by the other two rubs. We will use these up, but considering the price-to-qty ratio and average reception, we'll probably choose alternatives in the future.

Have used the rub on both chicken and port. Does wonders for the flavor.

Was delivered today and in time to use on my pork ribs. The jar size I got is too small because this product is amazing. You will not be disappointed.

Tried for the first time and was a little spicy but considering all the pork was eaten first spoke volumes.Will use again.

Purchased this rub to be used on chicken and it worked really well, a nice amount of cherry wood added amazing flavour to this rub. Well worth the money.
