After calling numerous stereo shops, they said I could not put a car audio system in my Mercedes because of the electrical system. Well, after doing the math the proper equipment purchased I did it myself. No voltage drop alternator not overworking ,working great.

Although much higher capacity deep cycle batteries are available for just over $100, this 1200 watt case form fit perfectly in my audio gear space. This allows about 30 mins of tunes at low volume from a 1200 watt system with zero drain on starting battery. 5 star battery, 4 stars for overpriced.

This secondary battery for my 2 amps stopped my lights from dimming when that bass slams and it plays brighter and loud because of that extra 12v juice

It performed well at first then I had a an inline fuse blow and went to look and flipped up the seat to see the battery was bulged and very hot. I have a 2023 gmc at4 I didn't want that to explode in so I immediately unhooked and placed in the bed of the truck. Dont know if I got a bad one but I'm out about 150 luckily I wired everything up safely and the fuses did their job. Bought it on October 6th and received a few days later let it charge per the instructions. After charge installed and took it out yesterday November 5th 1 month of use in my mind is not worth the money.

I absolutely recommend this battery. Everybody said I would need to upgrade my alternator. But that was not in my budget. High output alternators are very expensive. But I was having major headlight dimming and voltage drops when the bass hit. Using a Pioneer GM-D9601 to power my Sundown SA-12 d2 with 1200 watts at 1 ohm. After adding this battery the bass was immediately louder. I listen to a lot of rock music. Now when the kick drum hits, it feels like its going to stop my heart. It was ok before but after installing this battery, that was the biggest difference I noticed. Hard hitting kick drums. Also, the headlight dimming has been reduced to nearly nothing. Only the hardest hitting bass notes can I see even the slightest bit of dimming. Also, voltage remains constant much better. No more dropping down to 12 volts when the bass hits. Its a sealed battery too so installation is easy and can be done anywhere.
