Dockers Men's Never-Iron Essential Khaki D1 Slim-Fit Pant

Dockers demands a price 50% higher for their "no iron" pants. What I found interesting was the large variation in quality and features within this line. Depending on where the pants were made and apparently when they were made, lining quality, front closure, cuff stitching and over-all workmanship varies greatly. I laid two pair of supposedly similar pants side by side and pointed out the differences to an amazed Macy's sales clerk. The pants I purchased were not the best but weren't the worst either. Looks like Dockers is abandoning the D-1 size anyway since only two colors are available and I purchased "1 of 2" in one color and "1 of "1 in another color. I would caution prospective buyers to be aware that Dockers not only come in sizes but variable quality. You won't always get what you pay for.

These pants are almost what I was looking for. I was trying to find a pair closest to the normal dockers d1 slim fit but a pair that wouldn't wrinkle or fade as much as the normal dockers d1 slim fit. These pants do just that, they never wrinkle and they never fade but they do not fit quite like the originals. They are much tighter around the butt than normal and much looser around the calves. I am 6'2 and slim. However I do run quite often so maybe my butt is too muscular from that running. When I wear them I can hardly fit my wallet in my back pocket without fear of it splitting my pants open.

These D1 Dockers have a terrific cut. They fit nicely around the hips and the upper leg and do not become baggy during the day. The never-iron look good when you get them promply out of the dryer. I do admit that I press all of my husbands pants on a pants presser so they have a nice look. But, with the Never Iron Essentials they could be worn without that extra pressing. I do not know how they would look after many washings because his have only been washed about 4 times. I will always purchase the Never-Iron Essentials over the D1's that are not the Never-Iron because they are easy to press because the cut lays nice and even.

I usually wear a 30x30 slim which is what I ordered here. I even went into a store to try on the similar Signature Series D1 slim, flat-front in 30x30 which seemed to fit fine.These, however, were not the case. The waist line seems 1 - 2 sizes smaller. The length is just right, but I cannot sit, bend (bascially any kind of extending of the legs) in these pants. Going to try a 32x30 which seems like would work.

Great pants that tend to be very durable. I have bought several pairs and definitely like the unique low-rise style.Pros: Well made with great stiching, quality zipper, a quality light-weight fabric that truly never needs ironing, and true to the color to that is shown in pictures.Cons: Sizing is not very consistent in each pair.

I am hard to fit and these fit me perfectly. I can't tell you how much that means to me. In addition, I pride myself in how I am dressed and these pants permit me to always have a good crease in my pants and to watch them as often as I see fit. I took a chance and bought one and have since purchased three others. There are several colors and I have them all. However, I wish there were even more available.

Not sure why Docker's considered these 'SLIM' as they have a lot of legroom. These Never-Iron however have an issue with the waist size being 1 too small as other reviewers have said. So all in all, not true to the waist and too much leg room to be considered slim. I returned it. I wished it would of fit as the quality looks good.

Inicialmente no me fije que era un pantalón SLIM, al llegar el producto me di cuenta de ello, quede desconcertado, pero al usarlo me quedo bien, y si me gusto como me quedo. Solo que se le pega mucho la peluza a la tela, no debo utilizar ropa de franela, así, no se le pega los residuos de la ropa de franela.
