The Circular Economy: A User's Guide

This book is not an in depth analysis of the circular economy. Stahel has written much elsewhere for a more detailed explanation and his book The Performance Economy provides more practical solutions. Rather it is an outline of the circular economy, Stahel himself admits there is no single path to its creation, and the need and benefits a sustainable future could bring.For anyone involved or interested in how we can create a sustainable future, this book is a must read.

Stahel ist ein Pionier und eine Koryphäe auf seinem Gebiet. Seine Ideen und Konzepte sind höchst interessant und brandaktuell. Leider ist er jedoch kein begnadeter Schreiber: Die Texte sind schwer zu lesen und es fehlt eine übersichtliche Struktur und Aufbau. Viele Wiederholungen, Gedankensprünge und zum Teil wenig logische Terminologie, die spät, gar nicht oder versteckt eingeführt wird, machen das Buch schwer verdaulich. Schade, von einem "user's guide" hätte ich mehr Praktisches erwartet. Zudem ist der Preis für das dünne Büchlein hoch.
