Pain in the ass to put on, works great once it's on though!
This works great. It was also a giant pain in the ass to adhere it to my helmet. Took about an hour to get it on there after looking up tons of video guides where they just slap it right on without needing any adjustment. It took a ton of adjustment and it was hard as hell to adjust the pins on my helmet (HJC CL-17). I even made a little scratch on my visor when the pliers slipped off the pin. Now, you can get helmets with push pins, so I am not docking a star from the lens for this, but just keep in mind that this might not be a quick 5 minute job like all the reviews make it seem. I thoroughly hated this lens for how difficult it was to put on my visor.Once I got it on there with a good seal though, it works great. No more fogging on my visor no matter the temperature or my breathing. I ordered one of these after riding to work on a cold morning and my visor fogging up immediately. I've had this for a couple months and there's been no fogging. If my visor ever gets too scratched or broken I will be very sad because I really don't want to ever have to put one of these on again.

It works
It works. I understand the principle, but when I first installed it and saw how very thin the air gap is between the pinlock liner and the face shield I wondered how it could ever be effective. But it is. No more foggy face shield on these recent chilly mornings.Edit: After a couple of weeks I noticed what some other reviewers have also noted: moisture trapped inside the insert near the bottom edge. Looking closer I saw that there wasn't a perfect seal along the bottom edge. I gave one of the pins a quarter turn, and this tightened the insert fully against the face shield all the way around. That ought to take care of the moisture problem. Loosen that tiny philips screw just a bit and use needle nose pliers to rotate the plastic "knob"; it turns pretty hard. This is on an HJC CL-17.

Works well
Seems to do the job, now I just need to find a way to keep my glasses from fogging lol.

Perfect fit for my CL-17 helmet (HJ-09 visor)
Perfect fit for my CL-17 helmet (HJ-09 visor). And what a difference it makes when riding in cooler weather. No more fogging up while sitting at a red light. The only thing I noticed is a little reflective glare from the visor from oncoming traffic, only when riding at night. This does not interfere with my vision at all as it's at the very top of my view, but it's worth mentioning.

I can see!!
Works great on my CL-17. Definitely can say that no fogging occured where the pinlock lens was installed while riding in the low-30's.For my CL-17 (2XL), I used the top notch and it sat properly and created a full seal.

Keeps the fog away, but disappointed in other ways
Eliminating fog is what it does and was my top priority, however, I can see obvious variations in the plastic. I almost thought there was another clear plastic sheet to peel off, but indeed there wasn't. I can still see okay, but frustrating for the price. Should be perfect!Regarding the install, I am an apparel designer and have worked with sewing opposite facing curves of different lengths together....it is very counter-intuitive but it works! This lens install is exactly the same, it curves out the wrong way and feels wrong trying to bend it in, but you are doing it correct! Don't overthink it and if you feel like you're forcing it wrong, you're probably doing it right :) I removed the shield first then set the lens in one pin and half bent it while installing on the second pin and it went right in. Perfect fit!

My first impression is one of disappointment. I have the pin-lock lens installed on a HJC Symax 3 helmet. So far I've experienced some unexpected fogging on my face shield below my left nostril. Temps were in the 30's (degrees). The trouble is, once the fogging leaks between the lens and the shield, it does not easily de-fog. Unlike when you lift up your face shield without a pin-lock lens installed and it quickly de-fogs. I tried to re-seat the lens and had the same results. I need to do some more testing in the Spring.
