Cthulhu Christmas Tree Ornament H. P. Lovecraft Xmas Alien Hanging Holiday

Cthuhlu and Christmas. Not a sane combination, right?Every year a Christmas ornament gets given to everyone in the family that reflects the likes or major activities of the receiver for the past year. My son Joe is a major Cthulhu fan, so what could have been better?It's a decent sized ornament, and very well made. It's also not easily breakable, but I have to admit I didn't try very hard. The color goes all the way through, so fading may not ever be an issue. It's actually better looking than the picture for it.As a side note, it's the only ornament on the tree that the cat's didn't mess with. Wonder if they know something we don't?

I prefer Cthulhu to be cute because I don't like thinking too much about the alternative. As others have stated, this does look handmade - like the Cthulhu was pressed out with a cookie cutter, then the hat and brim were added and the eyes painted on - but I think it's adorable and the ornament I got doesn't have any flaws.Be warned, though - this is a FLAT ornament, not 3D. The pictures don't make that clear and the dimensions (3 X 4 X 8 inches as of this writing) are off. The ornament itself is more like 3" X 4" X 1/8" at its thinnest to 1/4" at its thickest. Think of it as a Cthulhu Christmas Cookie.

It's a novel little ornament, but it does look a bit like the plato stuff you used to form and then bake in the oven...but hey, it's a holiday ornament and I see it for a few weeks of the year and touch it twice just to get it on and off the tree, so who cares.

Everyone needs a plastic Cthulu ornament for their Christmas Tree or Menorah. Quality made at a fair price. Makes a great stocking stuffer or a gift for coworkers. I have a spot on my tree for this. I will spray mine with pine scent.

It is great! Heavier than I expected, but it is not ceramic or hard plastic so it won't break. This is the second year we've used it & it still looks brand new - no fading. I highly recommend it for Lovecraft fans.

The BF laughed when he pulled this out of his stocking on Christmas morning. It was a decent ornament; my only complaint would be that it was completely flat, when I was expecting a more 3-dimensional ornament.

I purchased this as a gift for a friend of mine. The recipient said it's made well and seemingly seems to love it!
