KitchenAid Artisan Nespresso Coffee Machine

Absolutely beautiful machine but as soon as I descaled it it stopped working. I bought another to replace and it leaked almost immediately. They aren’t making them atm but when they overcome whatever is wrong with them I might be tempted to try another and hope it’s as good as the rest of kitchenaid equipment.

We have enjoyed using our KitchenAid Nespresso coffee maker since 2017 when we bought it new.Our purchase was influenced by the KitchenAid reputation for making good sturdy machines that work well, have a long lifespan, and have good spares and service support with spare parts being readily available.The machine is solid and well made and still works, but recently the machine has been leaking more coffee than was being poured into the coffee mug, so we descaled it but that made no difference so we contacted KitchenAid to ask about getting the machine repaired or serviced.To our surprise the reply that we were given was that there are no spares available for these machines and that they can no longer be serviced or repaired.In addition we were told:- "if I were you I wouldn't buy another KitchenAid Nespresso coffee maker as there are no spare parts available for them".Many thanks for the absolute honesty from the KitchenAid team in the UK - but these machines are still being sold new - so take their own advice and don't buy one!They are nice but they are also too expensive to have to throw them away if something goes wrong - and it is a matter of luck as to how long that could be.....................

I was bought this as a housewarming present, and when I found out the price, was truly astonished. The first machine stopped working within 4 weeks, so was returned and a replacement sent. The current one dispenses more coffee into the drip tray than it does into the cup. The drip tray overflows all over the work surface if not emptied after 4 pods. This results in a total mess and 1/3rd of the coffee expected. I see someone else has reported the same. Totally unsatisfactory and not fit for purpose. I should also add that the plastic coating has also started to peel, showing the metal beneath. Disgusting quality at outrageous price.
