I own 2 of these now, and they're very warm, light weight, and great for travel. Great for formal or casual wear.

I'm sort of a glamorous backpacker. It's near impossible to find compact, good quality pieces that don't make me look like I'm stumbling in and out of hostels. This is great for cold planes and buses, it dresses up any outfit, and I even sat on it at a music festival (although I know it's not meant for that!). It's small enough to stuff into a purse, but warm enough to ward off an evening chill or over-airconditioned room. I also use it as an extra layer of warmth when I'm sleeping in cold hostels.If you're a fan of merino wool then you know that this is durable, naturally odor resistant, and lightweight. This is a great weight when you need a little more warmth. It folds small enough to fit in an average purse; so it's ready to pull out when needed. It was a little smelly, but an airing outside took care of that and now no smell at all. The wool is woven in a pleasing subtle herringbone pattern. It doesn't itch. This was a good buy.

Wonderfully big and warm. Appears to be good quality though not as soft as some Merino woolens we have. Love the size and possible uses. Fairly hard finish (medium density on the weave) without being heavy nor too flimsy either.

It had a smell when I first washed it. Used a lot of febreze and eventually the odour went. It's nice and warm. There was no odour after the second washing.

Color is way off. Cobalt blue is not purple but that’s what I received. Much smaller and more narrow than pictures. Returned.

An updateI made my first review before wearing the scarf and have changed my mind. I wore it last night when the evening was somewhat warm but still needed a wrap. the weight of the scarf is perfect and I love the length. My fault for rushing to judgement.

I purchased this scarf in the rich burgundy color and absolutely love it. The color is deep and rich, and the scarf is large enough to be versatile. The material is definitively a nice, warm wool that can be worn to dress up a dress, or just as a neck scarf in cooler days.

This is gorgeous. Absolutely love it, would definately recommend. The product arrived quickly and within the given to timeline. A lovely shawl that an be worn as a large scarf. Kept me warm during the cold spell

Somewhat stiff which is surprising for merino wool BUT I think a few wears and it will soften up - it's very warm and the green is a FAB colour.
