I have never used a stud finder in my life, but wanted one to find studs in the ceiling so I could hang some plants. I was worried that this thing would be difficult to use, but I didn't want to get a cheaper one and risk it not being accurate. I was impatient to start using this thing as soon as I got it so I skimmed the directions then decided to test it out. It was surprisingly easy to use! Accurate too, since I tested it in spots that I know I have studs in. So I tried it on the ceiling, located a stud, said a quick prayer, then drilled a starter hole... and the stud was there! I'm so excited that it works and it's easy to use!

UPDATE: 12/02/2019I received an email from the Seller shortly after leaving my original review. They thought I might have a lemon so they offered to send me a replacement. Happy to say that this stud finder seems to be working excellently at the moment. I’ve used it a couple times now helping friends hang TVs for the Holidays. Great customer service so it’s a no brainer recommendation.I’m seeming to be having some issues with mine. I’m going to run a few more tests but so far the accuracy has not been stellar for me. I am in the process of renovations and had some drywall cut open so I knew exactly where the studs were and this was off by quite a bit.I’m going to go back through the manual once more and see if I happened to miss anything crucial to set up. Otherwise I may have received a lemon?

As a rookie DIY person, I first purchased the "popular choice" brand Zircon which costed me about $50. I got non-repeatable/inconsistent results which were all over the place, so I returned it back. That's when I purchased this stud finder which is both accurate and cheaper and gave repeatable results. I gave it to friend (who built his own house!) to test it and the opinion was same (he will be buying one too!). I would definitely recommend this product.

Very happy with this stud finder...I have another one but it didn't seem to like these old wall with a layer of concrete.It has been a huge help having this the last few days, no more random drill wholes from the hubby making sure it's a stud or not....and this one does metal as well!Couldn't be more pleases with this.

I am so tired of drilling hols to find I missed the stud. I bought this tool after recommendation from Project Farm on YouTube. It has 3 buttons and easy to use. It found the studs, it found the power lines, it found the electrical lines. It's super easy to use, just turn on, select the mode, and slide on the wall. The only thing is it shows distance in cm not inches which is fine by me but someone else may not appreciate that. Love it.

Works good and looks good, I love it (Yes, I'm a guy)! Very accurate! Love the nylon packing bag it comes with. I always like when tools come with their own case. I'm a little more confident drilling holes in my walls now, I don't cringe as much compared to before.Before, I just use to knock slightly on the wall with my index finger and cringe as I rammed the drill bit in. I use to think, well, let see what happens.

I got the stud finder to help me locate the stud to install a floating shelf on the wall. Three buttons on the machine and very easy to use. The manual is printed in very small font but the instructions on product details here is good enough. It comes with a packing bag, which is very handy. I used the stud finder function mostly but also tried the wire and metal detection. I got a stucco wall and it seems the whole stucco wall got some metal inside. Great tool!

I use it in deep wood mode to find studs in a rented house. It works well in a middle of a wall but makes too many false positives close to corners, can't be trusted at all within 1 ft from a corner. I think it's because it has really wide search sector and 'sees' reflections from side structures.

Je n'ai pas encore beaucoup d'expérience avec ce détecteur mais à la première utilisation la détection des montants en bois et des fils sous tension à été précise. Au départ il faut bien lire le mode d'emploi pour le maitriser et bien que dans l'ensemble l'appareil semble de bonne qualité et précis je pense qu'il faudrait améliorer le son de l'avertisseur sonore qui est très faible et pratiquement inaudible, il faut donc se fier à la combinaison voyant lumineux et lecture digitale, aussi La zone feutrée n'étant pas très large il ne glisse pas toujours bien sur les surfaces et à tendance accrocher.
