This item description says it is aprox/. 3 cups...it is not any where near that...mine wasn't quite 1 1/2Cups. Also said two pounds......I didn't think to weigh it first but I really doubt that too. Wish I hadn't wasted my money.

The fact this is listed as black is an insult to the world of colors. This is light grey, not even remotely dark enough to be called black. Which is unfortunate because I bought this to complete my "underworld" in my aquarium but this rock is so light its useless. Not to mention its flaking badly and seems unsafe, though my fish seems fine it's just not high quality rocks. Pay more, buy elsewhere

Awful disgusting product! I got this to use in my new aquarium. First of all, the price is a bit steep for the small amount you’ll get. I was looking for specific colors so I bought it anyways. The gravel looks like it’s painted on. I opened the bag and was repulsed by the overwhelming stench of GASOLINE! I knew I could never expose my fish to this but I tried rinsing it anyway. After several rinses, the “gravel” still smelled and even smelled up my kitchen. If you’re planning on exposing this to anyone (fish, animal, or human) DON’T! There are plenty of other products out there for aquariums so I suggest you use one of those. I did not bother trying to return this and I threw it away.

Idk what happened with the pictures from my first review that I was trying to write but not all the rocks were completely out of the bag of course, there was just a small hole with half of the bag of rocks emptied into the Amazon shipping package which isn't really a huge deal for me because it's not a liquid or something that got broken / damaged. It's just a bit annoying of course ... And I dumped the rest of the rocks in there to have a place to keep them since the bag will no longer suffice. But other than that they are exactly how I pictured them and they are exactly what I wanted! 🤗❤️

Arrived on time. Nice really small pieces of gravel. They look just like the picture and 2 pounds is a lot more than I expected. I didn’t need a whole lot for my craft project so there was more than enough. I don’t know if I’ll use some sort of glue or resin but I’m sure either one would work on keeping the pebbles in place. Would definitely order again.

Based on the photo I was expecting bright green rocks. I was really disappointed to end up with dark dark green rocks. They won't work for the terrarium I planned to put them in.

The pebbles have a very strong smell to them that wont rinse away. Scrubbed and soaked them prior to putting them in the tank with no luck. One day later and it has the whole tank smelling pungent. Hope my fish survive.

Color isn't as bright as picture shows. This gravel is approximately 1/3 the size of normal aquarium gravel. After the first few aquarium cleanings, this will be nothing but fine particles at the bottom of your aquarium.

Killed my fish. I rinsed these stones several times as they smelled toxic...my fish were dead the next morning:(
