If you shoot someone with it, depending where you shoot them ,Yes it can hurt. The arrows have a certain weight on them. If it's the arm or leg then no. But if it's used towards a child then yes. It wouldn't feel good. We don't use it towards each other We made boxes with stuffed animals in them to knock down. We use them in the house mostly. Outside they get lost and the arrows get stuck up in the trees. I have thought really hard to use them on our squirrels here. They are a problem. It would stun or possibly kill one if hit hard enough and in the rite spot.
