I've used the regular non-scratch version of this and it's my go-to in the kitchen for cleaning dishes. This new "stay clean" version isn't great, in my opinion.Where the previous non-scratch scrubber actually scrubs away food particles, this version requires more physical effort to ensure your dishes stay clean. The purple is nearly a flat surface that doesn't have much texture to scrub away food. The "Stay Clean" scrubber also doesn't always stay clean, especially when you are wiping oil off.The only good thing is that the clear handle is made of slightly thicker plastic than previous versions and less likely to crack. If you buy this dishwand, get some  Scotch-Brite Non-Scratch Dishwand 3-Refills/Pk, 7-Packs (21 Refills Total)  for it.

After seeing the price on this item I searched for a dish soap wand at local stores and could only find the one with the green harsher pad. So I bought this one here. This wand was exactly what I needed to complete my Pinterest project and create a cleaning wand for the bathroom filled with blue Dawn dish soap and vinegar. When I first filled the wand it leaked out everywhere in the shower. After reading the instructions again and one more try and ensuring the wand was upright I remixed my concoction and the cleaning solution stayed inside the wand. It is gentle on my fiberglass tub and faux marble sink. Having the right tools makes cleaning a breeze, it turned out to be worth the price.

DO NOT like these new pads, they just 'goop up' with cheese or anything like that that is in the pans. I have been using the dishwands for years and prefer the green or blue scrubby ones. These are terrible... I bought this for my elderly parents as part of a 'new stuff stockup' for their move to an assisted living apartment. I had to go out and get replacement scrubber heads for this immediately...

I haven't used it for my own personal pleasure yet BUT I worked at a homeless shelter for boys and I would come in and have to clean their kitchen (ugh!) This thing was SO great.... I had to buy one for myself although it was a little "pricey" for my budget.

I really like this sponge, but it's not holding up as well as I think it should. (sponge is tearing away from wand)

I've tried several other dishwands and they all seem to be made under the supervision of the soap companies--the soap just oozes out before you've used a tenth of it. This one is different! It has a valve that keeps the soap from the sponge until you USE it! Excellent!

Works as described and actually makes washing dishes and pans kind of fun. Stole the idea from another reviewer to get one for each bathroom as well and Im happy I did. Also got different pads until I decide which works best for which surfaces.
