Did not fit application.
May be just fine but will not just "fit" as a replacement bulb in all instances. For example, I got these to replace the map lights in a BMW E30 (1988 325is) and they will not fit in the fixture. I doubt they could even be modified to do so.The OD is ultimately larger than a standard halogen bulb of the same designation.

Excellent for indicator lights!!
I purchased these to replace the incandescent bulbs for my Turn/Brights/Oil pressure warning/Neutral indicator lights on my 1990 FLHTC. Lights are a little brighter than the incandescent, not much but noticeable. To me they are perfect, if you want blinding lights then these are not them. It is a single LED. I don't think they would work good at all for gauge illumination since these are very directional. I would definately purchase these again for the application I used them for.

Work great for dash warning and signal lights that you don't want to be be blinding you at night.
I've been converting all the bulbs in my '67 Mustang's dash to LEDs. I used very bright different ones for the back-lighting. I discovered that the very bright ones were too bright for the turn signals and warning lights; they hurt my eyes at night. These LEDs are low profile and are about as bright as the incandescent bulbs that they replaced, which is exactly what I need. One issue is that the pegs at the base of these bulbs don't stick out far enough to grab in the socket. I had this issue with other LEDs of this base type. I resolved the issue by adding a small bead of solder to the pegs to extend them a little.

Not suited for my application
These bulbs appear to be designed for radial or side firing illumination. I bought them along with ones that were more forward firing to produce a balanced illumination in my instrument cluster. Unfortunately that scheme did not work as the lamps were too far back to provide illumination around the metal faced gauges. My error. Might work good in a shallow cluster. They were at a price that made it worth a try.

Run away quickly
Don't bother even attempting to use these. If you want to be able to say you have led's then go ahead, but if you want any sort of light then run away. Even in the pitch black these lights can only be seen for a few inches away before the light output is worthless. Spend $5 more and get a brand that has quality behind it.

Too dim for motorcycle indicator lamps.
It's difficult to find low profile ba9 led lamps like these, so despite the bad reviews I thought I'd give them a try for the indicator lamps (high beam indicator, turn indicator, warning lights) on my vintage motorcycle. They're very dim, so not effective at all during the day. They're only really visible at night.

I hope that the pictures upload in order. What ...
I hope that the pictures upload in order. What you are looking at is the my in dash blinkers indicators set to flash on my 83 Electra Glide. The order should be the LED lights up first, they continue to get more bright and then start to dim until they both go out with the OEM bulb the last one to go out.

Like them.
Used these to upgrade the dash lights in my CJ. Worked great. Could be a little brighter, but a direct fit replacement.
