Perler Beads 80-42922 Minions Perler 6000 Bead Activity Bucket, Yellow

This is our first perler set and we love it. We have made at least 7 Minions and still the bin is over half full. This is a great bargain for a craft set. The set comes with instructions for making the Minions and three small boards. We do not have an iron but we heat up our cast iron skillets which do the trick quite nicely. I would recommend this set since it comes with a ton of beads, three boards, and an idea card. We love it!! My 9 year old can make them by himself but the three year old does not have the coordination to place the beads on the board.

This is a cute perler bead kit that is sure to please Minnons fans. With pegboards, beads, patterns and ironing paper, it is ready to use when it arrives.

This is a fantastic kit for kids who love the minions. It comes with handy molds and a 14 pattern booklet all on minions. It created hours of enjoyment.The only drawback is that the beads are completely mixed up. Personally, I find it completely inconvenient to sort beads before doing a pattern, but for the little fingers and imaginations, it was not a deterrent to have to presort bead colors before completing the patterns.

Who doesn't love Perler Beads? And Minions yes!!My 6 year old is in Perler Bead mode these days and absolutely loves making his own creations. This kit is so much fun to create each of the Minions we love. It's a fun exercise in following directions and counting beads. Even mom and dad enjoy it. :)

A great set. My son loves it! We now have a million minion coasters in the house. ** TIP: I learned I only like 'brand name' fuses beads, either Perler or Hama, as the unbranded beads found cheaply of Amazon or eBay are inconsistent in length and melt too easily. Same goes for the PEG boards. I bought some $1 boards, and the pegs melted into the creations when I fused them.

I bought these as a gift for my kids, they loved them! They are a great toy for those fine motor skills. There are lots of beads and 6 months later my kids are still using these to make key chains.

My son loves minions so we had to get these. We will have fun, but you need to know what you are getting and what you are not.Whats included:3 small shaped peg boards (about 3"; square, circle, hexagon)6000 beads (colors: yellow, blue, green, brown, black, grey, white, pink, teal)a sheet with 15 patternsironing paperThe set was not what I was expecting.1. The pegboards and patterns will only make tiny minions. They would make cute key chains or zipper pulls for backpacks.2. I was expecting more patterns. With 6,000 beads we were hoping to make lots of minions. A typical minion takes about 250 beads so this set should make about 25. We will need to buy a minion pattern book or find more ideas online.3. I was expecting more yellow and blue beads. Like I mentioned above we were hoping to make lots of minions, but with the colors provided we might not have enough blue and yellow. We have lots of beads that we won't use in making minions.It is an ok starter kit. I think another idea would be to buy the minion pattern book, a large bag of yellow beads, a large bag of blue beads, and a small multi color set for things like eyes and goggles.
