Pretty good except.....
I've had this oven for a couple of months. Initially I really wanted a French door oven. I needed a specifically small size because it was going on the upper shelf of a microwave cart. I need a maximum 1500 wattage because that's what my old toaster oven was, and it blows the circuit when I run the toaster oven and microwave at the same time. I can live with that arrangement, but I didn't want to go any higher than 1500 watts for the toaster oven. This fit the bill, but note this oven, by Chefman, is discontinued. Chefman only makes one toaster oven. The one they sell now is similar looking but quite different. It is larger in size, higher in wattage and more expensive. This model has a non-stick interior, the newer one doesn't. That was kind of a clincher for me.Because this was going on a shelf, I needed strong hinges on the door because it would hang loose in the air when open. Not like some ovens with flimsy hinges that rely on the fact the door would lie flat, propped up by a countertop when open. This one has strong hinges. It has a nice rubber seal around the door when closed too. No heat leaking. It heats up very fast compared to my last oven, that's good. I bought a silicone mat to go under the oven, to protect the microwave cart from burning. But the feet seem to be high enough off the surface and it doesn't seem to radiate to much exterior heat, so I probably didn't need it.Now for the criticisms. I like having "analog" knobs instead of digital controls, just because I think they last longer than computerized controls being subjected to heat all the time. But the knobs are smooth without any texture except the indicator point. And they take a bit of finger strength to turn them. This might be a little difficult for an elderly person and you can't have greasy fingers when you set them. The knob indicators are kind of confusing. They have a number, then a printed notch for the in between settings. Where the precise settings are is something you have to get used toOne feature I had on my old toaster oven was that the timer had a "Stay On" setting. This oven's timer goes up to 60 minutes but there's no "Stay On" setting. I miss that for slow cooking ribs and such. I'll have to reset the 60 minute timer repeatedly. It's pretty easy to wipe clean, but like any oven, the burner rods are in the way of cleaning the top and bottom completely.I love having a light inside the oven. But it goes off when you open the door, everything goes off. However, there is a button on the door frame that controls it, and you can press it with the door open to turn it on.Comparing this to my old toaster oven it runs quite hot and fast. The convection fan really makes a difference too. Baking and broiling are great. I tried toast and it came out hard as a rock., maybe my fault. I did use the air fryer a couple of times so far. It seems to work well but I have to watch not to burn the food. All in all, I am learning to love this toaster oven. It's very sleek looking and I'm not sorry it doesn't have French doors. It seems very sturdy. I hope it lasts. It takes some practice to use it efficiently. You won't be sorry if you buy it.

Great for baking, broiling, air frying. Toasting? Eh.
Let's face it, "toaster" ovens don't really "toast" well unless you're talking garlic bread or something so just don't expect a large toaster oven to...toast.Otherwise this is great so far.I made air fried plain chicken wings then added buffalo wild wings desert heat powder, yum.Broiled (with convection) some steak tips. Perfect. Tender and juicy. Also tried the ultimate test, cinnamon rolls. Usually these burn and end up gooey. With bake/convection setting they were perfect.Toast, well, failure.I will update after a couple months. This will get used daily as I don't use the "big" oven in the home due to the gas fumes making me sick.I like how tall it is.Gives more than enough room for two pans of cooking.A minor thing, more if a suggestion for the designer. There is no way to see where the knobs are set unless you are looking diwn at them as they have no marks on the front, just raised spots on the sides. (See pic) For disabled seated folks this means having to touch to see where the timer is at, etc. I added pieces of label maker tape on which I put a line corresponding to the raised area. But it's something they should have thought to do.

4 Air Fryers - several months, I have can now be considered a certified "Air Fryer" reviewer. Not!
This a review for the "Chefman Air Fryer Toaster Oven"Background=========First: Iconites 8-in-1 Air Fryer 6.5 Qt- It basically worked but was literally a pain to use- Flipping a simple chicken drumstick was very difficult- Since it was very cramped small space, you had to pull the tray out.- Oops, half way it would drop suddenly wit it your food would spill onto the door..- I waited too long to return, my fault.- Since I had the original box I donated it too the "Salvation Army" hope it finds a good home2nd: "Breville - the Combi Wave™ 3 in 1 1.1 Cu. Ft" - It was too smart for its own good. - The one I had used the microwave, oven then the air fryer. When selecting "Air Fryer" - The purpose was to ensure the oven was properly pre-heated - Lets just say that it was to complex for me to properly use and blame it on operator error - Oh the price, ouch! $450+ - "Curb appeal" ooo, it was a very attractive looking kitchen appliance - I did not want to return it, but the ouch from above still hurt along with the "how to use problems" - Yes I kept a watchful eye on my return window! - Less than 30 days to ensure I knew if I could use itOnce you have tasted fully cooked "165+ degrees internal thermal probe tested" chicken drumsticks you can never go back to regular chicken. So I could not give up.3rd NuWave Bravo XL 30 Qt. - Ok so I saw a TV Infomercial, but bought it via Amazon. - This was large enough to reach in with kitchen tongs and flip you chicken wings and/or any item needed - It also had its own probe which could be programmed to auto-shut off when set temp was reached - Right off the bat this probe thing just did not want to cooperate, again not that easy to use, must be me - Just when I thought I had figured out the unit would "pre-heat" which took forever" - It had 5 min after pre-heat timer, which could not be adjusted - Once it time out and moving to "Rdy" mode, the oven rebooted like you had just turned it on - Again less than 30 days.. Back it went to Amazon - Reading the reviews I had also bought one of those "Assurance 4-Year Plan" and was able to get a refund4th: Chefman Air Fryer Toaster Oven - After dealing with all of the fancy settings - All I wanted was a simple "Air Fryer" option - Large enough to use tongs - Definitely not an invisible slid tray thing - I again bought the "Assurance Protection" based on reviews saying the unit only lasts so many monthsFYI: be aware the photo's of full grown large chickens in the ovens are deceptive. Some of the rotisserie units are using smaller size chickens to sell. Due your math based on needed Qt size for a given chicken, even this Chefman that I like the most so far, would be hard to accommodate a larger chicken considering you may need to turn it over for proper "Air Fry" operation. Again, maybe I just do not know how to properly use "Air Fryers".This unit is so much easier to use, I have only had it a few days. Cooked my chicken drumsticks and it was so so simple. Hope the unit lasts longer than some of the reviews stated.Best of luck in finding an "Air Fryer" that suits your needs.

Worked for a few years
Bought two of these. One lasted for 3 years and the other one lasted for 2 years. The 3 year old one was used on a daily basis and the 2 year old was used once a week and they both stopped working ( heating and cooking ok’ing food). The knobs stopped turning too to the different modes of cooking( baking, toast)

This has become a safety hazard to use.
The Chefman air fryer toaster oven was purchased August 31, 2020 as used 'very good - small cosmetic imperfections on the corner of the item'. It was delivered September 8th. The broil/baking pan came badly marred obviously with previously baked on residue. I sent a 'review' advising of this problem/condition of the oven but no one even acknowledged my comments.Soon after receipt of the oven, while baking, I experienced the left side of the rack simply dropping out of groove. I thought this was a one time occurrence; however, this happens almost every time there is a casserole dish in the oven on the rack. The rack and broil pan do not sit level within the oven. Since the light works only when the oven is on it is extremely difficult to inspect the inside when not in use. Using a flashlight I have discovered scrapes along and around the grooves for rack/broil pan placement.I don't know if this is a manufacturing defect or if its the result of negligence/abuse by the previous owner of this oven. In any case I am reluctant to use the oven for baking anything. I am disappointed in the description of the condition of this oven (absolutely no reference to the broil pan or inside finish) and that there was not a conscientious inspection before sending it out.

Easy to use, multifunctional, saves counter space
I've been using this for over 2 months now since I threw my old broken toaster oven and given away my old airfryer, therefore saved a good amount of counter space. I've baked cakes/cookies, airfried wings and fries, toasted breads/bagels and cooked frozen pizzas (med size) on my Chefman. All with good results. I gave it a 4 star because the airfryer is not as good compared to my previous Ninja fryer. But it does the job and I'm happy with it.

Unreliable
The media could not be loaded. The Toaster Oven worked well for a year and after 2 weeks the warranty ends got problem with the function dial. Got stack on the Toast position but could not make selections to the left of the dial. And then stop working all together. Got in touch with their customer service a couple of time; first time I was ignored. So I decided to open the unit and see what I could find. It was the function dial unit, one of the pins was burned so I checked on-line and got one on amazon but it was slightly different model but I took the chances. Now most of the functions works but I still concern with the unit itself. NOTE: I bought a replacement at Walmart on-line and then at Costco on-line. Both of them sent a returned items by someone else, both boxes were repacked and shipped as new product. I returned both of them with a rather nasty comments on their site. If I payed for new item then I expect a new and un-opened box and not a re-packed product.
