EZPLUCKER EZ-131 Stainless Steel Chicken Plucker Defeather Machine

This plucker works like a charm. It plucks and cleans the feathers in about 10-15 seconds and does NOT bruise the body (I'm always asked this).

Everyone said you can skimp on most things when setting up a processing station, but SPEND THE MONEY FOR THIS PLUCKER. They were SO right! It was delivered by freight, on time and packaged well. It worked just like we were told it would, cleaning the chickens in seconds. We processed 12 chickens our first time. It went so well we just ordered 35 broiler chicks.

Worked decent and appears fairly well built. However, it would not do 2 approximately 6lb birds at once without them getting stuck. Even one bird often became stuck and I had to quickly turn the machine off or push the bird to get it going again. With 4 or 5lb birds it might work a lot better. Regardless it got the job done much much faster than doing it by hand.

Motor and unit built are okay. The unit works, however it still needs some improvements.1. The irrigating hose inside the drum needs better support and the drilled holes need to be angled downward. As it is now, the water just shoot over the top of the barrel. A metal pipe would work much better.2. There need to be a lever and switch to turn on/off water to the irrigating hose inside.3. Remove the plastic around the drum with those fingers in place is nearly impossible, please remove them and wrap the barrel with plastic wrapper.4. The clearance for the nuts between the wheels and the legs are too close that no wrench will fit through. Either provide a thin wrench or include thicker spacers.

it was great, love the machine, we used it for couple times now. we have to adjust the hot water temperature for bird dunk in before drop into machine. Awsome, save my time so much, the birds look so clean, even my neighbor joint us.
