I bought 2 of these and didn't really like the odd wood surface (weird white lines throughout) so I wiped on some ebony stain and didn't wipe it off, thinking it would tint it black, but it came out a dark brown color that eliminated the lines and I thought it looked much better.

It was very simple to assemble. It's was just what I ordered for the purpose.
Easy to assemble. I used this to replace what I had for my plants behind my sofa. I'm pleased with my choice. Since it would be behind my sofa I wasn't looking for wood carved or any upscale model.

The color wasn’t charcoal black it was a light brown with white tiny lines through out .
I use it for a sofa table. I was so looking forward to the charcoal black. To hard to return because of the size. I don’t want to repack it.

The table is nice but a piece broke off when assembly it was a big deal and you couldn’t tell it was a piece that was one of those if it’s there fine if not fine so I rolled with not having it to keep from having to send it back for a new one and it looks wonderful

A bit unstable. But, it does look nice.
It is a nice looking piece of furniture. However, it is a little bit unstable. It works as long as it is against a wall. Overall quality seems to be good. It is a sturdy piece of furniture.

Perfect for what I needed
I purchased this to placec items on top of and underneath it in my office. It's perfect for my flooring samples to be stored underneath (I didn't install the crossbar). It's not the sturdiest piece of furniture I own, but it's plenty strong for what I need and great for the money I paid. (I got a great discount) I saw lots of comments in the reviews about the wood finish, so read below for a little pro-tip on how to give it a more uniform, attractive finish!I knew from seeing customer's photos that the wood would have light markings in it, which I didn't want, so I darkened them up with some Old English dark wood stain and it made it a nice warm medium brown wood color.
