Good for children

Well like alot of parents this is a must for getting your child accessing school. My 14 yr old can access her google classroom which runs in the background when she is completing other tasks on the tablet. The graphics are good and once back at school im sure she be using it with other apps. The battery life is good though she does have it plugged in while doing her school work. its a great tablet, we did get a keyboard to go with it. so its even easier to use.

I bought this for our child's schoolwork at the start of lockdown. It's serving it's purpose mostly and coming in handy for periodic streaming needs. It was easy to setup once I'd looked up how to set it up as child friendly (there's a Google app I can manage access with from my and my wife's phone so that's good). The touch screen isn't perfect but I'm not sure what to expect at this price point.I think it's probably the best value at this price point as I've had phones this price that haven't hit the mark and this just feels like a large phone (because it's Android).

I love these! I'm upgrading my kids from kindles, during this pandemic, schoolwork is so hard to accomplish on kindles and it's causing frustration so I splashed out! Quality is amazing, battery life seems really goid, easy to set up for kids and it also creates a Family Link so you buy one game and both can share. Screen size is just short of 10" and it's so thin and lightweight. I've gone for 32g although you can add an SD card to increase storage. The kids chunky carry cases are expensive but again worth it just in case they are dropped. My children are ages 6 and 9 and suits both perfectkt. It's made a huge difference and it's that good if and when my iPad dies I'll be buying one of these.

Initial thoughts were that this was a great tablet for our 8 year old. However, it soon became apparent that it wasn't going to do what she needed it to do. After installing a couple of games (just kids things so nothing major), the memory was full. We purchased a memory card but you can't save games to the memory card. Luckily amazon accepted a return and we are swapping for a better spec. Hoping that will be a better fit.EDITWe swapped from the 2GB + 16GB (as reviewed above) to the 2GB + 32GB. This gave us more space to save games but the processor couldn't handle a game my daughter played. It froze on calls and whilst she was playing her game which led to tears. I'm not impressed so far.

Bought this tablet for my elderly Mum. I set it up exactly as her phone is layed out so she felt at home with it instantly.I have since received multiple daily calls and texts asking "how do I do this", "it keeps on saying this", "how do I watch antique roadshow on this"... None of which can be held against this very good quality bit of kit.To be honest I thought it would be slightly quicker to react, load apps etc but it suits my mums needs. If I was going to use this for say a business need I would look for something with a bit more CPU...All in all very good for the price.. Got to go, my mums on the phone... Again.

Bought this in an emergency on the demise of my Galaxy Tab S 10.1, but find it to be a really good little general use tablet. Only gave 3 stars for screen quality as the resolution is so low, and 4 in general as I don't like the keyboard - but then I was spoilled by my Samsung.I would recommend to anyone, but suggest paying a little more for the 10.1 inch model.
