Great river knife
I bought my first Spyderco knife 25 years ago. I have carried it on my life jacket all these years and was really happy with it. Even today, it's a good knife: sharp, easy to open, but heavy.I started thinking about updating my rescue knife and of course, I thought of Spyderco. After looking over the options, I settled on the saver salt. It has exactly what I want in a river knife: extremely sharp rustproof blade, lightweight, very easy to open, and just the right length to carry in a pocket on my PFD. For me, it is the perfect river knife.

Excellent quality, kinda big.
I'm a 25+ year Sportfishing Captain, I've seen a lot. This knife is great, a bit larger than average. Maybe a bit big to carry for daily (more casual) use. This is INCREDIBLE, but more likely for a large jacket. Not necessarily for crew wearing shorts. Make no mistake...This will handle ANY duties, including cutting off a stuck anchor!!!

Good dive and boat knife
I've had several of these in the past and given them as gifts to others that spend a lot of time on the water. I use one as a backup dive knife and keep one on the boat. Cuts line well, resists rust/corrosion and is nice and lite.

Nice knife for use around all water.
This appears to be a really nice knife for use around any kind of water. I bought this one over the Atlantic Salt as the smaller size works better in my PFD. Kayaking in both fresh and salt water, and not always getting it rinsed off, has really shown its rust resistance. A great value compared to some of the much more expensive titanium water/dive knife options. Performs far better than "regular" stainless steel.

Best damn knife in the world
You cannot find a better fishing/boating/diving knife in the world. Thousands of hours of use in salt water and it just won't quit. Buy once, cry once - my motto when it comes to salt water items. Just get it - you won't be disappointed.

wrong size.(little to no information given on blade size)
I purchased myself 2 of these knives and once delivered i saw that these were in fact the C118YL(3.093" blade) and not the C89YL(3.687" blade) i thought i was purchasing.

Light Weight And Tough!
Bought this as a gift for my husband to keep in his saddlebag when out on the trail. This knife is light weight but designed to cut! The blade is shaped so the knife can safely and quickly cut through rope to free a tangled horse.
