Best Variable ND on the market - Perfect performance, practicality and protection
Despite this sitting at the upper end of the spectrum on price, it’s easily the best Vari-ND I’ve used. I previously had a Tiffen Vari-ND but the build quality, colour-cast and lack of protection when in the kit bag was a big downside for me.PM’s PolarPro Variable ND is built with practicality and protection in mind. It’s lightweight, thin profile and tactile edge for screwing on and off the lens is so simple but effective. The hard shell case is excellent and the front rubber cap for protection when left on the lens is again something all ND manufacturers should be doing. And those are just the small details - the biggest factor with this ND is that it gives no colour cast or loss in sharpness AT ALL. It is literally so clean and crystal clear whilst giving you 2-5 stops of light cut. I love it. Would recommend to all serious cameramen, DP’s and photographers who want to ensure they’re using the very best variable ND they can.

Easy to use, great image quality.
PolarPro’s VND is probably the toughest VND on the market in 2020. Scratch resistant, and knock resistant, however it’s not impossible to scratch or break. The image quality is good, but not perfect. There is a very slight warming of the image. It’s easy to use, so no complaints about the supplied lens cap or VND itself.

Lens is great box looks second hand
Great lens but the box was damaged. It was plastered in scuff Mark's and looks like it's been tossed around a lot. It really takes away from the quality knowing that it looks second hand even though its ment to be brand new.

Best value for the money. Sharp images.
This is my second ND filter. My first one was TIFFEN, it’s cheaper but I had to compromise on picture quality. So after using it couple of times, I returned it. After much hesitation, because of the pricing, I bought polar pro. Gosh, I am flattered with the built quality. It’s definitely the best investment. I don’t mind spending $100 extra on the product that has value. Definitely worth the money spent.

Eccezionale
Filtro variabile eccezionale, vignettatura pressoché inesistente, color shift gestibile in post produzione. L’ho utilizzato sia per foto che video, la nuova versione va a introdurre un feedback aptico durante la rotazione della ghiera ed un nuovo defender case. Ottima anche questa versione, anche se ahimè costosa.

Bloody brilliant, but expensive.
Absolutely brilliant ND filter. Just as good as a set of standard fixed ND filters, but the price reflects that. Worth it if you want no compromises, I've seen no vignetting or cross polarisation on any settings, even down to my Canon 10-18 which is a 16mm equivalent. Comes with a very nice and robust looking hard case and a soft case I ended up using for one of my other filters it was so good.No complaints at all, just wish it was a little cheaper.

An absolute must have
I have tried a lot of variable NDs, and this is by far my favorite one so far. The image is hardly affected (I don't notice it at all). The construction/durability is top notch. One issue I have had with other NDs is that they always get scratched. This one being very scratch resistant was a big seller for me. I have two of them and have yet to get even a tiny nick.If you shoot video, you definitely need this filter.
