Was at odds on what to take to a party. I made your Artichoke Dip recipe and was the hit of the party. The combination of all natural ingredients made for a delightful change. I look forward to trying your other recipes.

Making healthy eating easy
I am not diabetic or pre-diabetic but saw this book on a stand at the library and thought I'd take a quick look to see if it would give me ideas for healthy foods I could keep in the house that would keep me from suffering from as many low blood sugar moments. I really liked the informational section in the front of the book about how to determine your water and protein intake, etc. It wasn't new information but was easy to follow and I appreciated the summary at the end of the chapter on what to do. Then came the recipes. As I read through them, I wrote down foods in the recipes and was happy to see how many options there were and how many things my family might try with me. There are definitely foods that carry over from recipe to recipe so it will make meal planning easier along with being healthy. The recipes are VERY simple - lots of just mixing and no more than 4 steps to making any of them. I hope this book helps me solve my breakfast dilemmas and that my kids embrace the new ways to introduce more veggies into their diets.

No nutritional information.
Read the book, but I was confused. Is it for people with diabetes or those who just want to follow a blood sugar diet for health reasons. Both? I didn't feel the Author's introduction really answered this question. The recipes look okay, though I have not tried any yet. The big problem is the lack of any nutritional information. Some of the recipes look sky-high in terms of carbs. If the book is for diabetics, the actual carb counts really should be included.
