I wanted a camera that overlaid the odometer on the video and this dash camera does that with the 'watermark' setting. It also offers to include a license plate on the overlay I'm guessing in the event the camera is to be used on commercial fleet of vehicles, an owner can quickly identify which video belongs to what car/driver.Hooking up the camera wasn't bad, this is my 5th camera but first with a rear camera. The rear camera is generic, I don't think it's built by Apeman therefore you don't have to use the red wire that comes out of the camera that is about 5 feet in length. This option is normally used for car stereo installations to activate the camera when the car is put in reverse. The rear camera comes with 20' of wire and i was able to neatly tuck the wires under the trims and A-Pilars and still had about 5 feet left of cable. The front camera also comes without enough wire to hide the wire under the trim with left over wire. The power connector is a micro USB connector.The C770 is missing the ability to flip video 180 vertically, I mounted the rear camera upside down the first time not knowing if it mattered. There is a 'Mirror' setting but I could only flip the rear camera horizontally. I didn't care too much about the rear camera, but it is a nice feature in the event someone hits you front behind or hits you in a parking lot, etc.. The rear camera also can't be mounted inside on the glass, it has to be mounted on the license plate or somewhere vertical. The swivel footing is flat and there's no way for it to mount on a slanted window. In a van for example it also can't be mounted on glass to face the outside, it would only work facing inside. This is why I think this is a generic backup cam and there's no instructions on the manual that tell you how to mount it or what the red wire is for (which is not needed in this application since the rear camera gets it's power from the 3.5mm jack that plugs into the main camera unit).The Camera seems to be well built with an overall nice design. The 3" screen is a bit big, but i guess needed for touch screen. I was able to install it up high on a black box on my car's windshield therefore the size didn't matter and I don't think it's in my line of sight. You can choose for the screen to go to sleep while driving from 1, 3 and 5 minute increments.The mounting tape is very strong. On another Apeman model I mistakenly placed the camera too close to the mirror and i could not pull off the mount. I had to use a razor blade to remove, but luckily that camera and this one come with an extra 3M double sided mount tape but I did not make the same mistake twice.I hooked up my camera to the radio's constant power wire (Yellow wire) in order to benefit from the parking monitoring. When i get to work or home I hold the power button to turn off the camera. The same when I start the car. But if I run errands the camera is always recording. When the camera is off, i hit the front window to test the G-Sensor and the camera did power up and a video was recorded and the video was locked. I couldn't fully test the motion detection because when I tried there were many trees that constantly moved and the camera never turned off. But it did turn off at night at home, therefore i believe it works ok. I'm not too interested in this feature because there's always something moving outside. But I do like the G-Shock because this summer someone hit my wife's car and took off and if i had this camera system i would have caught the person since it was hit in the back.I recommend this camera if you are looking for a dual camera system that shoots HD video. If you are looking for an affordable camera that shows the odometer on the camera and video output. The Wifi is a great tool, i was able to shoot a few videos and download them to my phone without the need of removing the SD card... This matters to me only because i always forget to bring the SD card back with me. When the Wi-Fi is connected, the setting's menu does not come up on the camera which is ok. The app can manage the camera remotely including start/stop recording and/or taking pictures.When I remove the camera from the mount it stays on. This is the first camera that I've owned that it stays on, but I don't know for how long. I don't normally use these as personal camera's but useful if you just got into an accident and can't find your phone because you dropped it when you were texting and caused the accident. Now you can bring the Apeman C770 camera outside and snap a few pictures of the accident to show others why texting and driving is bad.I did 3 videos for this camera, an unboxing video, installation video (2005 Subaru STI) and a review. The review goes over the settings and clips of me driving during the day, cloudy and night time.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Build quality is very good, the 4K/30 setting may leave a bit to be desired in terms of slight ghosting (though it accomplishes it as needed), but 1080/60 is well-performed; you won't have to worry about any missed information in either resolution (if you have a large SD card, preferably 64GB at minimum). The menu navigation is a bit ambiguous, but you won't be deleting anything on accident, it's very organized. The touchscreen is also very responsive, and it's large enough to understand what video was taken where (if you so choose to go through your SD card on the camera, but of course it's much quicker to organize your footage on a PC). The mic quality won't re-record your music on-blast in studio quality, but your voice and important noises can and will be heard in record.For all of these qualities, I do recommend giving this one a fair try. The camera capture quality, stable and solid body and mounting, and ease of access [once you learn it] may be a good deal at this price point (though, make sure you know 100% what angle you want your dashcam to point to, that 3M stuff is really strong and you only get an extra pair of windshield applicator and the 3M pad).Also, shame on you Amazon for crushing my video like this, it looked so nice when I was done rendering. :((Video song credit: fantasy guys - bae caught me vapin [nelward flip])

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I was using 1080P one-year old dashcam earlier and planning to upgrade it to 4k dashcam, while searching for 4K dash camera found this model, looking at my requirement it seems to be nice 4k model and value for the money so I decided to upgrade it. The setting up the camera was simple, and I have installed in minutes have connected it to the car cigarette light charger. The dashcam needs micro SD card so ordered SanDisk 128GB High Endurance card from amazon. As per the information from the support they informed to format the SD card in the computer with the fat32 format but in my windows 10 machine it showed only NTFS & EXFAT, even after formatting with EXFAT the dashcam prompted to format the SD card once again before use. Once camera fixed in the dashboard it can't be removed easily, 3M sticker can't be reused so the extra stickers are useful incase if you are planning to change the location or the moving the dashcam to another vehicle.The video quality in the 4k model is fantastic, able to read the number plates of the other car very clearly, display the speed of the car, date and time & GPS coordinates. The OLED touch screen seems to be very responsive with easy touch buttons for start/stop recording, mic and for other settings. The G-Sensor works well even in low setting and saves the battery too. The WI-FI on the camera with LuckyCam app does the job and able to download the videos quickly without removing the SD card. One feature which can be added to the dash cam is you can't control with touch control when dashcam connected with phone using Wi-Fi.The APEMAN support sent welcome email with best options to choose from and supplied video links for setting up the camera & functions useful for beginners. I have used only the front camera with 4K video as my car already comes with inbuilt rear camera function and if you connect both front & rear cameras it work only with full HD not 4K, but the Sony sensor make the images & video crystal clear even in 1080p mode. Overall, I recommended the 4K dashcam with all great features for everyday usage.

This is my third car-cam and it's absolutely above average and meets all my expectations. You probably have to pay twice the money to get all the features which other brands can provide.Love the 3-inches touch screen which makes it so easy to configure the camera, or you can download the app from Apple Store and connect the camera to your phone through WIFI. Download a 300Mb video through WIFI to your phone takes about 2 minutes instead of taking out the memory card from the camera and connects it to the computer each time you want to save something. Once you start using WIFI or Touch-Screen control on the camera you probably don’t want to go back to button controls.The built-in GPS is a huge add-on which shows your location and no need to pay extra money to get a dongle hanging separately on the dash. The Sony IMX 335 Sensor provides great night vision with WDR balancing and no need to worry about headlights from the opposite traffics affecting the recordings.My previous ones are with 1080p/30FPS resolution but this one is up to 2160p/24FPS front alone which provides stunning pictures, and I found the 1080p/60FPS provides more smooth videos perhaps due to the +30FPS difference. When running both front and rear cameras it will scaled down to 1080/30FPS but the video recordings are still clear and detailed.

I had installed one desk camp camera, when I bought my new car. By the way, I bought this camera from the local shop in cheaper rate around 50 or 60$. The quality is bit okay just like 360 or 480p but I feels safe at that time as I do not want to invest my money on those kinds of thing. My friend had a accident past month and his car was hit from the front badly and I was amazed that the camera did not capture the number plate, I mean the number plate was clear. But that camera was not able to capture the tiny alphabets so, I make a decision to try this time from amazon as I got many reviews from my friend that amazon is selling efficient and reasonable product. nonetheless this pandemic it is good to stay home and order it online. In end, this one is extremely well as its record in 1080p quality in night and day so, it is rellay worth to buy and I attached the screen recorded video for you guys.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I have had this camera for over 10 days now.with the packaging, really well packed, good detailed instructions so first impression were very good. I'm pretty happy with this camera set. I' ve ordered two less expensive ones before and had problems. From I like it small, does not occupy too much space on the window shield. Recorded video images are excellent quality and have a very wide angle view so you can see what is going on around you (see the attached video). Having an excellent record of what happens to you and your car may come in handy some day.I think it is good insurance and makes good sense.

Ordered on May 10 and got the package on May 14. Pretty fast and well packaged. Description states it need 32gb sd card for recording and i brought a 64gb for larger capacity. However it take me almost a week to figure out how to format to 32gb. Tips use your Mac system instead of Windows. I wish seller can give buyer an option to add extra value to this machine. Package is nice and instruction including six languages easy to understand. They even offer Chinese language as operation system. The quality is very good to the video If you pause it you can see patents and everything surround. The power cable along the length was enough back to back, and for connecting the rear camera, the cable is very long. I drive a toyota camary anyway.I feel it is worth what i pay and recommend to friends.

This is the first time I am using a Dashcam and I am glad that I chose this brand as it provides value for the money. There are lot of features that came up with it and I liked it. It provides the best image quality and recording with motion detection with supporting 128 gb SD card which works best in driving long trips. The screen size is perfect enough with the touch screen function which makes it really easy to use. Also, the night vision detection works perfectly taking recordings at night clearly. The one thing I liked the most is Wi-Fi connect and GPS tracking. We can easily download the videos on our mobile phones in case of emergency and the GPS module functions great. When I received it, it was easy to install in my car using the manuals provided and since then I am loving it.
