Elder Scrolls Anyone?
This is a good game with plenty to do and plenty to explore, but it's no Skyrim. It's best played with friends exploring dungeons, questing or battling other players in the PvP area. That being said, it's very difficult to play with friends if your player levels are vastly different i.e, sharing quests, but it's possible if your friends don't mind doing quests or fighting enemies that may be a few levels above them since you would have probably already done their lower level quests and thus, won't be able to share them. On the flipside playing by yourself can get kinda old after awhile and is part of the reason I traded this game in the first time I owned it because it just felt like a watered-down version of Skyrim. Another reason I traded it in is as I got to the higher levels, around 40 or so, it became harder and harder to find quests and the game became an exercise of exploring every nook and cranny on the map trying to find some. On the PvP side it has it's moments but quickly becomes riding your horse across half ghe map and hoping that a battle is still going on and if so likely getting rushed by 10-12 other players, dying then having to respawn back where you started. Rinse and repeat. Overall it's a good and fun game but just to let you know as of the latest update the game takes up about 67 GB of hard drive space.

You do however gain skill points and CP and better gear so you'll eventually out-level the lower level quests
This game is already about 2 or 3 years old so when you first get the disc, be prepared to download 2-3 years worth of updates and patches (15 hours). It says it comes with the Adventure pack but that expired 2 years ago. Also you need PS plus in order to play online games which wasn't the case a few years ago when this game was first released. And if you want to be able to make your own gear, potions, enchantments...etc you have to buy the monthly ESO subscription to get the bottomless parts bag.I'm not a fan of the auction house compared to other MMO's. I wish they connected all the guild stores into one massive auction house. And also, here's the biggest thing.....Quests level up when you do. So if one quest is too hard, you can't level up and try again - it stays the same level as you. You do however gain skill points and CP and better gear so you'll eventually out-level the lower level quests. There are still zones made specifically for lower levels even though you can technically go anywhere. I hated this at first, but it's nice being able to do all the quests and get your well deserved EXP and new gear for your efforts.I'm currently level 42 and haven't attempted a dungeon or any group activities - these players have 2 years on me and CP points make a huge difference. We may be the same level, but I still suck compared to them. You don't have to buy anything besides the subscriptions to play the game properly. There are no micro-transactions like one reviewer said. You can buy a cool mount or buy a house but they're more like decoration than anything practical. The only thing I bought was a merchant that travels with me - super handy.I'm almost positive all the PS4 players, PC and Xbox players all play separately from each other. PS4 players talk on headsets to each other so there's not a lot of typing. I prefer this because PC players have quicker, better access to all their spells (plus more add-ons) whereas PS4 players are limited to what's assigned on their controller. It wouldn't exactly be fair to play together in PVP. You don't have to PVP if you don't want to.I'm level 42 and have yet to start the main quest line - that's how much content there is.This game is highly addicting, runs smooth with practically no lag even with my shotty internet. I had to stop playing Final Fantasy online because my internet couldn't keep up with it.I'm highly pleased with this game aside from the few downfalls. I wish I can throw all my un-needed crap in my house like in the original Elder Scrolls but I can't. I can't even purchase a trunk for my house.

Beautiful, but...
The quality of the game is good, the graphics beautiful, designing of characters well done . The elves are very much improved, all the races in fact look better than they once had. The difference is there in each, and you know whom you are looking at. Armor and weapons look good, and are not over sized on the characters or gender that wields them. The roleplay element could be there if players took time to enjoy it, instead of harassing or being rude teenagers . This to me was noticeable the moment I began to play, I could not go a step without a lewd comment directed at me. My player tags? My own nicknames, ones I've been called for years. I could clearly see it was teenagers, this I ignored as often I do.Despite the stalking by one player I progressed and was able to learn the system, and set it how I pleased. The launcher loaded with a fair speed, and was easy to navigate at any point. In game I found no trouble finding what I needed. There was most often easily something to do, until you reach the pvp part, now to those that love this, you will enjoy it. I did not, for pvp is not my style, but if you are a healer you too will find a place in this style. Enjoy the game!

Great game
Love this game. Hours of fun either solo or with friends ;) The graphics are good - perhaps not as good as some solo games but that's to be expected. The storyline is standard for an MMO but those that enjoy this sort of game will enjoy the quests and storyline - that said there is no repetitive grinding as you often find in MMO's which is a good thing - so far I haven't been asked to go and gather X items which involves killing hundreds of a certain type of enemy. The way enemies no longer respond to you as a threat when you complete certain quests is great and the mix of solo and multiplayer dungeons is excellent.

Great MMO for consoles
If you've been looking to a World of war craft type game, then this is for you. Its not typical Elder Scrolls, your a little more limited in class build for example. But the game play is solid MMO, the story is ok, you have all the crafting you would expect and the PVP is great as are the Dungeons. Haven't got the raiding yet.The only thing that kills this is the lack of social i.e. randoms grouping to run a dungeon and not having a mic. Its not a problem for low level runs but on the higher level runs its a problem (think Lee Roy Jenkins just as a silent movie)

Not a bad game, just disappointing
Oh what a shame. Not a bad game, just disappointing. Combat is repetitive, story lines are tedious. Elder Scrolls is an amazing series, and I absolutely loved the previous additions, but this just makes me sad. Add to the fact that there are endless massive updates, seemingly every time you want to play. This was my first attempt at an MMO, and also my last. I'm off to play Skyrim now.

Perfect for MMO
This is a 5*game if you like MMO and all that that entails, if not it could be deemed 'dragon age with khajiit' but I loved it. The world's are a touch smaller but what more can you expect off PC? Engaging quests and good graphics.

Half decent
Its a decent game... addictive but as an actual game IMO its inferior to Skyrim but quite a bit. There are elements I like and some I prefer but ovreall it feels a bit tacky and the map also looks a bit s***.
